I am happy to report that navigating McLuck’s site does not involve a degree in computer engineering. Aesthetically, it’s a good-looking site, easy to make your way around, and generally gets a thumbs-up from me!
The interface is clearly set out with separate categories to allow you to easily access whatever game takes your fancy that day. In fact, everything you need is merely a scroll away. There are handy tabs below the promotion’s banner highlighting games specifically tailored for you, new and exclusive games, Game Coin exclusives, and several more.
Your profile is easily accessed from the tab on the left and gives you access to your personal information, account ID, verification status, and allows you to change your password.
Their help center has lots of useful FAQ’s split into eight categories with their relevant sub-links: Live Casino Games, Loyalty Program, Account, Purchases, Technical Concerns, Verification, and Social Gaming.
When choosing a game there’s information on the minimum and maximum spin amounts and also – something I found extremely useful – it listed the ‘Volatility’ of each game.
I couldn’t actually find much with the site to pick apart. My only slight criticism would maybe be that the actual home page was a little busy. However, I really am splitting hairs because I didn’t mind the busy-ness at all.

Yes… and no…
Although an app is advertised on the site, it’s bad news if you happen to be an iPhone user (like me).
For Android users, there’s an official McLuck app in the Google Play Store with an average rating of 3.9 stars…
Unfortunately, because of my iPhone status, I can’t give a proper review of the features there.
However, there is an alternative for us (hurray!). Instead of a traditional IOS app from the App Store, McLuck directs us to create a pinned webpage app on our home screens for easy access to the mobile version of the desktop site.
This is fairly simple, you just go to share the page and then ‘pin’ to the home screen. Done.
However, unlike with an app that’s been tailor-designed, I found the mobile version of the site to be ever so slightly laggy when I tried to play a game. This was rectified when the game finally loaded and I had a smooth and trouble-free experience when actually playing the game. However, I found that it was quite laggy every time I opened a new game.
In terms of information and usability, it was just as easy as the desktop site (lag aside!). The tab to the left was now a clickable button and all the information such as promotions, profile, and loyalty status was all still there.

Depositing and withdrawing: What’s the deal?
So, you’ve decided to take advantage of one of those optional Gold Coin packages. How do you do it? What options are available to you?
When going to make a deposit there was only the option to use a debit or credit card, unfortunately, Paypal or Apple Pay wasn’t listed from my browser.

Gold Coins are not exchangeable and have no cash value whatsoever. They are simply the currency that the site uses when playing the casino-style games that they offer. When purchasing Gold Coins you are entering into an agreement that you are not buying something that can later be exchanged for money. They are simply for play!
However, Sweepstakes Coins can be exchanged for cash prizes.
You cannot exchange the bonus Coins for cash straight away. The rules of McLuck state that they must be played at least once… Therefore, you cannot immediately exchange the SC’s you get in your package.
Once it’s withdrawal time you have two options when it comes to the Sweepstakes Coins. If you have 10.00 or more Sweepstakes Coins then you can exchange them for a digital gift card. SC’s are valued at 1 coin = $1.00. If you manage to win over 75.00 then you have the option to withdraw directly to your bank. Important to note that McLuck will need you to have verified your account with proof of ID before any withdrawals can take place.
The McLuck team will then review and process your request and it should be all approved between 2-3 business days!

A very important aspect when deciding the use of any site is the level of customer service they provide. I checked out McLuck’s facilities to see how they stacked up.
In terms of what they provide, as well as the extensive FAQ section in the help center, there’s an email address that you can contact with any of your concerns/questions that aren’t answered in the center. There’s also a live chat option if you become a VIP with them. Ideally I’d like to see a live chat available for all player types, such as mentioned in my
Vegas Gems review, but the customer support team was responsive and friendly when I contacted them via the email option.
