Social casinos are whipping up a storm across the US, and Chanced is one of the best of the bunch. In my Chanced review, I’m going to explore everything this emerging sweepstakes brand has to offer.
And believe me, it’s a lot. When creating an account from an eligible US region, you’ll immediately gain access to more than 500 different Vegas-inspired games, as well as a juicy bonus serving-up generous helpings of Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Cash (SC).
But is Chanced legit and safe – or a scam?
Like most free-to-play-at social casinos, I found that Chanced will grant new gamers some free coins on sign-up. The offer within your reach here is a super-generous one, too – you can claim the following:
Bonus up-for-grabs | How your freebies can be used |
---|---|
10,000 free "GC" | These can be played at any entertainment-only GC games you like. |
2 free "SC" | These can be played at any sweepstakes games you like, and later potentially redeemed for cash prizes. |
To get your hands on this Chanced bonus, all you need to do is visit the brand’s website and hit the greenish-yellow “Sign Up” icon in the top right-hand corner of the homepage.
From there, you’ll be asked to punch in a desired username and password, as well as your email address, DOB, and state. Your 10,000 GC will show up in your account immediately, but you’ll need to verify your ID via the “Profile” tab to secure your 2 SC.
After digging around in the brand’s T&Cs a bit, I can reveal that Chanced is accessible from most US states, with the exception of Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, Kentucky and Washington.
You’ll find a full list of permitted regions listed below. At the time of writing, in any green-lit state, you can go right on ahead and claim your 10,000 GC and 2 SC bonus with no promo code requirement.
Well, I’ve been playing here a good while now myself, and I’d say yes. On the neon-inspired homepage, games are organized row-by-row, while categories and filters can be found in a menu on your left. Alternatively, you can click through to individual game genres, of course.
The bright purple and yellow-green text against a dark background give off big Vegas energy, and navigating your way to pretty much anything you’ll ever need is easy, thanks to that streamlined left-hand menu – which’ll also point you to your “Profile” page, GC/SC “Wallet” and elsewhere.
One unique feature which immediately stood out as I was writing this Chanced review is the “Testimonials” page, where would-be newbies like you and I can check out honest reviews from past players. You won’t be surprised to hear many folk have praised the site’s simple functionality and no-nonsense user experience here. Generally, the site is a pleasure to use.
Sadly, I found that the brand doesn’t have any dedicated apps listed on the App or Google Play stores just yet.
To me, it appears Chanced has gone down the increasingly popular route of rolling out their platform as a “mobile-friendly” website instead – a trend that’s common among social casinos lately. My recent Scrooge review found the same of their social casino offering, for example.
But the lack of a Chanced app isn’t necessarily a bad thing. During the tests I performed using a Google Pixel phone, a MacBook Pro and an iPad, the site always loaded-up nicely and games were consistently fast-acting. I’d advise sticking to Google Chrome browser-wise, though. It tends to run things a little more smoothly than, say, Safari, Edge or Brave.
Chanced casino is legit super-flexible in the payment options department. While you won’t be able to make traditional casino deposits and withdrawals here, due to the site’s social casino set-up, you can purchase GC packages to top-up your GC Coins from the “Wallet” page I mentioned earlier.
The GC packages currently up-for-grabs start at $5 and go all the way up to $600, catering to first-timers and noobs alike.
There are a ton of different purchase methods available, too, from classic credit and debit cards like VISA, MasterCard, Discover and Amex to various cryptocurrencies – and transactions are sure to always go through instantly.
Once you’ve purchased a package, you should clearly see your GC balance displayed in the toolbar at the top of any Chanced webpage, or on your “Wallet” page. Most of the time, purchasing GC will entitle you to a free SC bonus as well – just keep in mind that there is no purchase requirement here, meaning you don’t have to buy any GC if you don’t want to. This is one of the many beauties of social casino-style gaming.
As I mentioned earlier, SC have a prize-redeemable value with this social casino brand. My Chanced review found that SC are exchangeable for cash and other real-world prizes here at a rate of 1 SC = 1 USD, though there is a minimum redemption requirement enforced.
Basically, you’ll need to have built-up a balance of at least 100 SC in your gaming “Wallet” before you can request a prize redemption.
It’s also worth noting that any SC you collect through bonuses (i.e. as opposed to through actual gameplay) have a 1x wagering requirement – but I’ll talk a bit more about what this means in real terms later on.
If ever you have any gameplay-related queries, you certainly won’t struggle to get the answers you need here. Chanced casino is legit one of the most user-friendly social casinos around, offering a one-click link to Live Support on the left-hand-side of any gameplay window, which you’ll have no trouble locating I’m sure.
Pop it open and you’ll be able to live chat with the brand’s support staff in real-time – which I’d say is probably the fastest and easiest way to get the answers you need. Whether you’re enquiring about sweepstakes casino promo codes or trying to fix a minor tech glitch on an individual game, these guys are going to be more than happy to help. They’re on-hand 24/7, too.
If you’re not in any mad dash for your answers, there is a customer service email address you can reach out to as well, which you’ll find by scrolling to the very bottom of any Chanced web page.
In my experiences, both support options are relatively fast-acting. Think near-enough instant responses from live chat during regular-ish daytime hours, and a wait of a few hours for a response at most if you’re burning the midnight oil. The email option, mind, is a bit slower and could see you waiting anywhere up to 48 hours.
In the world of social casinos, licensing isn’t quite so massive a deal as it is with real money-powered gaming sites. Basically, so long as you’re playing with a social casino brand that offers virtual token-based games with no purchase necessary, you’re usually good to play from any US state bar Washington – though I did find that Chanced also excludes players from Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, and Kentucky at the time of writing.
From a security standpoint, Chanced casino is legit, too. Totally so. The brand offers decent data encryption and encourages all players to use super-strong passwords. There’s also a “Private Mode” that can be activated to gray-out your login details each time you use the site – and transparent Customer Acceptance Policy and T&Cs pages you can thumb through to dig deeper into the brand’s privacy rules and company background if you’re more curious.
But you can take it from me – the brand can be trusted and Chanced is not a scam. I’ve been playing here a real long while myself, and the site’s testimonials from other frequenters really speak for themselves.
While some social casinos out there offer VIP and loyalty programs targeted at high rollers, Chanced bucks the trend. It’s a similar story to what I found when writing my recent Global Poker review – the welcome bonus is the biggest promotional offering here.
Having said that, there are of course plenty of avenues you can go down to collect more free Coins once your 10,000 GC and 2 SC have been used-up.
The extra bonuses I saw advertised at Chanced at the time of writing include daily and hourly reloads, where you can grab a hold of free GC and/or SC just by keeping your account active, and “Challenges” – which are a whole different beast entirely, offering you the chance to secure free GC/SC by completing mini-challenges within the boundaries certain slot games.
Of course, keeping a close eye on the operator’s X and Facebook accounts is wise, too, as you never know when the next big bonus might drop. My personal favorite promo here, though, is by far those hourly reloads – because it’s really rare social casinos will offer free Coin top-ups that frequently.
Afraid not, guys… At the time of writing, the brand’s Customer Acceptance Policy prohibits players from Washington, Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, and Kentucky. That said, gamers based literally anywhere else in the US can get their hands on an epic bonus here, and access more than 500 different slots, tables, and social casino games.
They do indeed. Chanced casino is legit a great place to play at if you value good bonuses. You can claim free SC by mailing a postcard to the brand’s US address, as well as GC/SC top-ups hourly and daily just by maintaining an active player account. Check out my bonus review for more information.
Many games in the Chanced portfolio will accept a minimum play of 0.01 SC. The lowest limits appear to be offered on slots and “Chanced Originals” games like Limbo and Keno, but of course you’ll find plenty of more high roller-oriented titles to choose from here, too.
Available in 45 different US states and boasting a ton of testimonials from players all across America, Chanced is a social casino that can certainly be trusted. Their platform is terrific fun, too, offering hundreds of games from top-notch software providers.
Any SC you accumulate at Chanced have a prize-exchangeable value – though you might need to play through your bonus SC at least once before you can request a redemption. Once requested, you can expect to wait anywhere from 24 hours to ten business days to receive your prize, depending on your selected method of prize receipt.
I spent a lot of time going over Chanced’s social casino offerings – and playing there for myself, too. In all, I was pretty taken aback.
With 500+ different games up-for-grabs across a well-balanced selection of genres, they have a little something for everyone here – and most titles that make up the portfolio hail from leading brands, too, meaning you can be sure of a good time, every time.
While there isn’t a VIP or loyalty club on offer, Chanced also ranks pretty highly for me bonus-wise, too. Why? Well, their 10,000 GC + 2 SC sign-up offer is a cinch to claim and can be played through on any games you please, and there’s plenty more where that came from.
Undoubtedly what impressed my Chanced review most, though, was the brand’s all-round ease-of-use. The lack of a dedicated app really is no bother here, as the operator’s website is a doddle to navigate and a joy to play around with, regardless of what kind of device you’re using it from. Just be sure to stick to Google Chrome as your browser, and be on the lookout for “Challenges” and social media promo code drops, and you’re sure to have a whale of a time.
The graphics on this platform are top-notch – feels like a real casino!
The game selection here is incredible – there’s something for everyone

One of the very first things that stood out to me when I first started playing at Chanced was the brand’s utterly incredible game variety. I don’t say that lightly, either – only too many social casinos out there offer slots-heavy portfolios, so I was pleased to see Chanced had taken a different route.
There are around 550 different games to choose from here in total, and while your classic Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus and Wanted Dead or A Wild are all present and correct, there’s a lot more to the platform than reels games and one-armed bandits.
For example, there’s a whole category of “Chanced Originals” titles up-for-grabs, which features the likes of Limbo, Plinko and Keno – all completely unique games you won’t hear about when reading my Global Poker review or researching any other alternative sweepstakes brands.
Chanced’s software is pretty darn good, too, with the bulk of the site’s games hailing from either Hacksaw Gaming or Pragmatic Play. One thing that’s admittedly a little limited here though are table games. Don’t get me wrong, there are baccarat, blackjack, roulette and dice game options on offer – just perhaps not quite so many as you might expect.
To recap: Chanced is a social casino that accepts two different kinds of virtual coins – GC and SC. The former are your entertainment-only chips, and you’ll get 10,000 of them for free on sign-up. The latter (SC), can be entered into sweepstakes games, tournaments and races – and have a prize-redeemable value once you’ve amassed 100 or more of them in your Chanced Wallet.
From a gameplay standpoint, my Chanced review found that unless you’re practically playing non-stop, you’re probably pretty unlikely to run out of coins. Why? Well, as I said a little earlier on you can claim GC/SC reloads both hourly and daily, and additional promo codes are dropped on Chanced’s socials frequently, too.
One thing you are going to want to watch out for, though, are the rules surrounding SC prize redemptions. You see, you’ll need a minimum of 100 SC to your name before you can request a prize exchange – but you’ll also need to ensure any SC you’ve gleaned from bonuses and promotions have been “played through” at least once, too. And on eligible games, of course.
Confusingly, only bonus SC are subject to this playthrough requirement – i.e., any SC you’ve accumulated via actual gameplay will already have “prize-redeemable” status. It’s important to know what’s what here before you request any prize exchanges, just to avoid any unwanted confusion.
It’s also worth noting that if ever you decide to take a break from Chanced, your SC will only be valid for 60 days after your last login – at which point I’m afraid to say they’ll simply expire.
If all-out fun is your endgame, you’re pretty much guaranteed it at Chanced. That 500+ game portfolio is a fair bit larger than what many of the brand’s competitors are offering, and the fact that the individual games in it either hail from top software houses or are completely unique to the Chanced site means you can expect awesome gaming experiences all-round.
Chanced casino is legit a fantastic sweeps site for anybody who loves bonuses, too. That 10,000 GC and 2 SC sign-up package will take you farther than you might think, and daily and hourly reloads are at your disposal whenever you need a Coin top-up. Of course, there’s the option to outright buy GC packages here, too – though as is the case with any social casino, there is no purchase requirement to play.
