Twitch streamer Denims has leaked DMs that fellow content creator John “Tectone” Robertson sent her, apparently in an effort to turn public opinion against him to get him canceled amidst drama between the two, but it may have had the opposite effect.
Beef between Denims and Tectone is nothing new and the two are in the news frequently for various drama spats. Tectone made inappropriate comments about Denims, while he was embroiled in sexual assault allegations. She has made comments of her own about Tectone’s father and the drama has been ongoing since.
Tectone restarted the drama when he made more comments about Denims and claimed that she wanted to date him. Denims leaked Tectone’s DMs to show that he was apparently trying to talk to her and not the other way around, and now fans are divided on whether Tectone is at fault or was doing a good thing.
Tectone claims Denims has “Tectone derangement syndrome”
Tectone claimed in a livestream that Denims had invited him to play Fortnite a few years ago and that she now has “Tectone derangement syndrome.”
In the stream, he referred to Denims as “a weak-minded individual” who has sexual feelings for him. The streamer went on to say that’s the only reason she talks about him so much. He continued that she doesn’t “have a chance” as he’s involved in a happy relationship. The content creator said he knows the heart wants what it wants, but he’d never date Denims.
Tectone went so far as to say that the female streamer isn’t good enough for him, and that she could make as many videos about him as she wanted, but it still wouldn’t work. The streamer elaborated that he knows he’s a “good-looking guy” who’s out of Denims’ league. He advised her to try pursuing someone “in her own league.”
Denims claims she doesn’t want an olive branch from Tectone
Denims responded by leaking Tectone’s DMs and said that she won’t accept an olive branch from someone who speaks about women the way the streamer does.
One blunt stream focused on the drama led to another as Denims leaked DMs that her fellow streamer had sent her on X. The female streamer stated that DMs prove that she isn’t obsessed with Tectone, and she said she doesn’t want olive branches from someone who’s accused of sexually assaulting women.
In the leaked DMs, Tectone invites Denims to play Marvel Rivals with him. Tectone elaborated that he wants to hash out issues and stop holding grudges, saying that they’ve both said horrible things about each other and that if she doesn’t want to interact with him, “it’s all good.”
Denims’ leaked DMs didn’t exactly have the effect she was hoping for, as many fans responded by saying that Tectone was being the bigger person by offering her an olive branch. Tectone responded to the DMs by saying that the only thing Denims had managed to prove with the leak was that he is a “reasonable forgiving person.”
