Popular streamer Michael “Heelmike” Peters is facing an indefinite ban from Twitch after a string of controversial events.
Michael “Heelmike” was one of the top 20 creators on Twitch with 7.4 million followers on his channel before the ban. Upon visiting Heelmike’s channel on the platform, viewers are prompted with a message declaring the channel unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. This news comes right after the 29-year old was banned on Stake-owned streaming platform Kick last month.
Heelmike has engaged in several physical fights with internet personality Jon Zherka, and allegedly “endangered” a minor leading up to his Twitch ban.
Is Heelmike’s Twitch ban permanent?
Heelmike’s ban is likely permanent since this is his seventh time being banned from the platform.
Michael “Heelmike” started as a Fortnite streamer and later transitioned into vlogging IRL events, emerging as a popular creator. Just Chatting was a popular category for the creator on Twitch besides Call of Duty and new releases.
The streamer faced a single-day suspension on Kick back in Feburary 2023 for engaging in sexual acts live on stream. The one-day ban, however, didn’t seem to deter the streamer from participating in offensive acts. Later on, Heelmike reportedly “endangered minors” during one of his streams, and participated in several fights.
Hellmike received another short-term ban on Kick in October last year after engaging in a heated physical fight with other creators, including Cameron “Cuffem” Jordan, Adrian “SweaterGXD,” and Citrus. The repeated controversial events caused Kick to irreversibly ban the 29-year-old streamer from it’s platform in March.
Right after Heelmike’s ban on Twitch, streamer and creator Aaron “AcZionMann” shared on Twitter AKA X that he “went out of his way” to ensure Heelmike received a ban, using “every connection he had made in the past eight years.”
Despite several short-term suspensions on both Kick and Twitch, the streamer has been involved in a list of controversial events both on and off his stream. Heelmike’s behavior has now likely resulted in irreversible bans on both platforms, leaving the creator with no choice but to pick another platform to engage with his viewers.
It now remains to be seen where the popular creator will host its content, after claiming he was “set for money” the same day he received a permanent ban on Twitch. This leaves Heelmike with two known options in YouTube or Rumble. Rumble is an app known for hosting controversial creators, including the likes of Andrew Tate and iShowSpeed.
