Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson’s crew member Ava Kris Tyson is being accused of grooming and sending inappropriate messages to a minor after a recent YouTube video went viral.
Ava Kris Tyson was a key part of MrBeast’s YouTube content for a long while. Though she was largely known for her association with MrBeast, she became a lightning rod of discussion and transphobia after coming out in 2023. Though she’s largely been out of the spotlight since then, she now finds herself being accused of inappropriate conversations with a minor. The minor uses the screenname LavaGS on social media.
YouTuber Adrox posted a video that included screenshots of posts by Ava Kris Tyson on X where she made comments regarding explicit subjects to LavaGS. The tweets were deleted, but have been preserved via screenshots and scrapers.
Around the same time, another YouTuber posted a video that included screenshots of a 20-year-old Tyson talking to LavaGS when he was 13 or 14 years old. This has seen many questioning the nature of their relationship and their discussions.
What did Ava Kris Tyson do?
Ava Kris Tyson exchanged banter regarding sexual subjects on various social media platforms with a minor. The conversations took place over multiple years. They started when Tyson was 20 years old and the minor was either 13 or 14. The two first met during the filming of a MrBeast video.
Tyson and LavaGS bantered on social media regarding pornography, nude photos, and other explicit subjects. The conversations highlighted in the YouTube videos were all publicly viewable. An Instagram post by LavaGS suggests they met in-person when he was 16 and Tyson was 23.
The alleged victim has vehemently defended Ava Kris Tyson on X. He stated that he was “never exploited or taken advantage of” and told DramaAlert that he never met Kris alone and that his family and others were present during real-life interactions. According to LavaGS, the two did exchange in some potentially inappropriate banter, but there was nothing beyond that.
Jake Franklin, a former MrBeast crew member, also alleged that MrBeast was aware of their interactions. Tyson has not responded to the matter on social media.
Highlighted in this is Ava Kris Tyson endorsing Shadman’s art multiple times, including allegedly buying and displaying a piece. Shadman is a highly controversial artist known for creating pornographic depictions of both real-life public figures and fictional characters, some of which are underage.
