How far into the manga does Kengan Ashura Season 2 go?
Kengan Ashura Season 2 Part 1 covers the events of the manga through chapter 181.
The Kengan Ashura anime currently has two seasons, with each season consisting of 24 episodes. The first season wrapped in 2019 and adapted the manga story through chapter 73. The first 12 episodes of the second season aired in September and continued telling the story through chapters 180 or 181.
As one might expect with that comparatively brisk pace, the Kengan Ashura anime skips a lot of content shown in the manga. This means that fans who watched the Larx Entertainment and Studio Hibari adaptation can get something new out of re-reading what they’ve already seen in the anime.
