A massive Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 leak may have revealed the full list of multiplayer maps coming in October’s game, and players are impressed with the lineup.
With Black Ops 6 just three months from launch and its beta only 30 days away, select athletes got an exclusive early look at the game on August 3 at the Paris Olympics. However, a leaker also gained access to the game on the same day, reportedly through a jailbroken PS4, sharing all in-game content online. While most clips have been removed, a list of all maps coming to Black Ops 6 remains.
The leaker known as betterthanalaix has revealed a map pool with familiar names. But, players are more excited to learn that Blizzard is working on a wide range of locations that may be available at launch. However, this detail has not yet been officially confirmed.
What are all the maps in Black Ops 6?
A total of 20 Black Ops 6 maps have been leaked on August 4.
While there’s no official confirmation from Activision, the company has been placing copyright claims against these leaks. This strongly suggests that the leaks are legitimate.
Here’s the full list of Black Ops 6 maps:
- Vorkuta Mine
- Vorkuta
- Catacomb
- Flat
- Dig
- Babylon
- Train Graveyard
- Russian Base
- Socotra 2
- Hacienda alt
- Strip mall
- Red Card
- Firing Range 2
- Veiled
- Canals
- Island
- Pillage
- Radar
- Stealth
- Nuketown
12 maps out of the leaked locations will have a 6v6 format according to the leaks. One is clearly a practice range, and the others seem to be smaller locations meant for objectives.
Although this leak is subject to change, fans are thrilled to see familiar map names resurface. Black Ops 6 may potentially bring back iconic locations like Vorkuta from the original Black Ops, Hacienda from Black Ops 4, and the fan-favorite Nuketown, which has been reimagined in various Call of Duty games.
Socotra2 may also ring a bell for seasoned Call of Duty players. Although it wasn’t a standalone map, there was a map set in Socotra2 in Black Ops 2, and it was named Yemen. Veiled might also be a reimagining of Fringe, an original map from Black Ops 3, which had the console codename mp_veiled. But, again, these are speculations and shouldn’t be taken as gospel.
Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25, 2024, on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
