A surprise collaboration between Genshin Impact and Among Us is officially live, giving crewmates a chance to pick up free Paimon-themed cosmetics.
Among Us is no stranger to crossovers, with past collaborations ranging far and wide across pop culture including Indiana Jones, Zelda, Mario, Half-Life, Halo, and PUBG, to name a few. This time around, InnerSloth is bringing Genshin Impact’s Emergency Food into the Emergency Meeting. In an announcement made by both HoYoverse and InnerSloth, it was confirmed that the developers are giving out a Paimon costume bundle. The best part is that players can get it for free, albeit for a limited time only.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Genshin Impact x Among Us collaboration and what it has in store for players.
How to get Paimon cosmetics in Among Us
Starting September 10, Crewmates can receive a bunch of Paimon items with a Paimon theme for free simply by logging in. The collaboration commences with the launch of Genshin Impact’s newest version, ‘Luna I’, offering a slew of new content, including maps, characters such as Lauma and Aino, enemies, bosses, and fresh game mechanics.
Players can split their time this September between exploring Nod-Krai and stirring chaos in Among Us all while dressed as Paimon.
Here’s what players can get from the bundle:
- Paimon Wig
- Paimon Costume
- Crest of the Best Travel Companion nameplate.
Among Us players only need to enter the game within this period and these freebies will go straight to their inventories. Once claimed, players can enjoy the new additions to their in-game wardrobes permanently.
The free items are only available until October 10, 2025, at 17:00 UTC. After that, they’re gone for good, and there’s little chance they’ll make a comeback. Fortunately, players are given an entire month to claim these in-game goods before they disappear permanently.
How to Equip Paimon Costume in Among Us
After claiming the Paimon bundle from the main lobby, customization can be done through the in-game inventory.
Here’s how to equip the new Genshin Impact Paimon cosmetics in Among Us:
- Open the game or go back to the main menu
- Select inventory on the left part of the screen, below ‘Play’
- Select the Paimon Wig in the hats category, Paimon Costume in skins, and Crest of Best Travel Companion for the nameplate
The Paimon bundle in this Genshin Impact Among Us collab isn’t locked to a full set, and they don’t have to be worn together. Players can play around with the cosmetics, like pairing the wig with the Jinx’s Clothes skin.
After changing the in-game appearance, players will be able to load into a game cosplaying as Paimon.
