Best build and teams for Lauma in Genshin Impact

Nod-Krai’s second playable character is on the way, and players are already curious about the best Lauma builds and team comps for use in Genshin Impact.

Characters from Nod-Krai are dropping one after another, each bringing new Lunar reactions to the game. Ineffa came first with her Lunar-charged kit, and now it’s Lauma’s turn with her Lunar-Bloom reactions. Lauma is projected to be a big upgrade for Bloom teams as she’s expected to patch up some of their current flaws.

There are still a few weeks to go before the 5-star Dendro catalyst user arrives, which gives players plenty of time to get ready and make preparations. Here’s a breakdown of everything to know about Lauma her best artifacts, weapons, and team options.

How to use Lauma in Genshin Impact

Lauma is a five-star sub-DPS support that should be built around cranking up Bloom damage.

She does this through the Lunar-Bloom reaction, which kicks in when certain Nod-Krai characters are on the team and Dendro meets Hydro. Players can think of it as an enhanced version of Bloom, only this time, the cores can actually crit. On top of that, each Lunar-Bloom also drops Verdant Dew, which she can feed into her skill for even more damage.

Lauma’s kit is as Bloom-focused as it gets. Her skill provides constant off-field Dendro application while shredding enemy Hydro and Dendro resistance. On top of that, her Burst boosts the damage of Bloom, Burgeon, and Hyperbloom reactions triggered by the whole team, scaling directly with her Elemental Mastery.

Genshin Impact Lauma Build – Best Artifacts

For the best Genshin Impact Lauma build, players will need Deepwood Memories, Gilded Dreams, Silken Moon’s Serenade or the Night of Skye’s Unveiling.

4-piece Deepwood Memories

Dendro sub-DPS support units tend to use Deepwood Memories. It gives upfront bonus damage to dendro and reduces the Dendro RES of the enemy, making it a natural fit for Lauma. That said, the debuff doesn’t stack, so she’s better off running a different set if another teammate is already holding it.

4-piece Gilded Dreams

If Lauma’s the only Nod-Krai member on the team and no other character is holding Deepwood Memories, Gilded Dreams is likely her best pick. Both the 2-piece and 4-piece effects stack a ton of EM, which directly goes to her personal damage while strengthening her buffs.

4-piece Silken Moon’s Serenade

Lauma can make good use of Silken Moon’s Serenade. It gives the whole team 60 to 120 EM, which is great for Bloom setups. Additionally, she gets an increase in her Lunar Reaction damage. The extra 20% Energy Recharge is another nice quality-of-life bonus.

That said, this set is only really worth running if there are at least two Nod-Krai characters in the party.

4-piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling

If someone on the team is already running Deepwood Memories and Lauma’s EM and Energy Recharge are in a good spot, Night of the Sky’s Unveiling becomes a strong alternative. With at least two Nod-Krai characters on the team, this set shifts the focus to her personal damage by adding Crit Rate and a Lunar Reaction damage bonus.

Best Genshin Impact Lauma weapons

Lauma’s top weapon picks include Nightweaver’s Looking Glass, Sacrificial Fragments, Etherlight Spindlelute, and Blackmarrow Lantern. The good news is that she also has plenty of strong free-to-play options, so players won’t be locked out of good choices even if they aren’t able to spend.

Nightweaver’s Looking Glass (5-star)

If there are enough primogems and resources to go for Lauma’s signature weapon, Nightweaver’s Looking Glass is a huge upgrade for her kit. Whenever Lauma deals Dendro damage or triggers Lunar-Bloom, she gains extra Elemental Mastery, along with bonus damage to Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, and Lunar-Bloom reactions.

Sacrificial Fragments (4-star)

Sacrificial Fragments is a classic pick for catalyst supports that lean on their Elemental Skill. It gives Lauma a good Elemental Mastery boost and a 40% chance to reset her skill cooldown. That’s huge for her since her skill is the main source of both her damage and Dendro application, and the resets allow her to generate even more Dendro particles for the team.

Etherlight Spindlelute (4-star)

Etherlight Spindlelute is an Energy Recharge catalyst that offers an easy way to stack 100–200 Elemental Mastery. With this weapon, Lauma gets a nice Elemental Mastery boost every time she uses her skill. Players can get this weapon from the Genshin Impact 6.0 event.

Blackmarrow Lantern (4-star)

Blackmarrow Lantern is also a good four-star option, especially if she’s paired with another Nod-Krai unit. It gives a hefty 48% bloom damage bonus and 24% Lunar-Bloom damage.

Best Genshin Impact teams for Lauma

Lauma has plenty of good team options available to her in Genshin Impact. These are the strongest comps for Lauma and how they work.

Best Lauma Bloom team – Nilou, Lauma, Nahida, and Kokomi

Lauma is the prime Dendro support for Bloom teams, and of course, the best Bloom comp always starts with Nilou. She’s the only character who can unlock Bountiful Cores, which deals a lot more damage than Dendro cores.

Add in Nahida who is undeniably the best dendro applicator in the game, as well as Kokomi for hydro and healing. Lauma ties it all together by converting Bloom into Lunar-bloom while shredding enemy resistances.

Alhaitham hyperbloom team – Alhaitham, Lauma, Yelan, Ineffa

Lauma and Ineffa, two playable characters from Nod-Krai, pair perfectly with one of the best Dendro damage dealers in Genshin Impact. A Hyperbloom lineup with Alhaitham, Lauma, Yelan, and Ineffa can be downright chaotic in the best way possible, as this team is stacked with damage and buffs.

Once the team’s set, players can expect constant reactions from Electro-charged, Bloom, Hyperbloom, Quicken, Aggravate, and Lunar-bloom to Lunar-charged. And beyond all of that, Alhaitham benefits from a ton of buffs and debuffs from his teammates, such as Dendro RES Shred and additional EM.

Lauma F2P Bloom team – Nilou, Lauma, Aino, Yaoyao

Players can also run a budget-friendly Nilou–Lauma Bloom team with Aino and Yaoyao.

Pairing Aino with Lauma works for a couple of reasons: her off-fielsd Hydro application helps produce Bloom cores, and she’s the missing piece needed to get the most out of the new artifact sets. Plus, being a four-star character makes her that much easier to pull. Meanwhile, Yaoyao covers both Dendro application and healing.
