CD Projekt Red has announced the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition, which will bring the complete Cyberpunk 2077 experience to players.
Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way from its rocky start to become one of this generation’s best open-world games. Developer CD Projekt Red has a reputation for supporting its games for a long time, and Cyberpunk 2077 is no exception. The Witcher 3, another CDPR RPG, is also getting an official mod editor for PC sometime next year.
Cyberpunk 2077 has received numerous patches, bug fixes, and performance updates. The latest 2.0 update completely overhauled the game’s systems and skill trees.
What’s in the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition?
The Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition will include the base game and the Phantom Liberty DLC expansion.
The Ultimate Edition will also have all game updates already applied, including update 2.0, which drastically changed how the game worked. The reworked skill tree and additional abilities will also be included in the complete edition of the game. The new release includes enhanced enemy and police AI, new weapons, new vehicles, and additional clothes added with the latest updates.
The release will also get digital DLC that was previously a part of the “My Rewards” program. The Wolf School Jacket from The Witcher series and the Black Unicorn Katana are notable additions.
The package is typical for CD Projekt Red. The Witcher 3 previously was given both Game of the Year and Complete editions; both versions came with the base game and all three expansions.
When is Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition releasing?
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition releases on December 5 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The Ultimate Edition will be available in physical and digital formats, with the PC version receiving a digital-only release. Players on PlayStation 5 will also receive a separate download code for the Phantom Liberty DLC expansion. The Xbox Series X/S version will ship with three disks, including the base game and its expansion.
CD Projekt Red has yet to announce the price of the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition. However, a previous GameStop leak had the game slated for a December 5 release at a $60 value. While half of the leaked information is now proven true, there is no official word on the price yet.
