Honkai Star Rail’s newest character, Sunday, is debuting very soon, and players wonder where to farm for his ascension materials.
As Honkai Star Rail patch 2.7 approaches, gacha fans might wonder where they can farm all the required materials for Sunday once he releases. As a Harmony character, Sunday packs some powerful buffing abilities.
Avid players of Honkai Star Rail will want Sunday maxed out quickly to take advantage of his unique playstyle. Anyone rolling for him should have the necessary resources in advance.
All ascension materials for Sunday in Honkai Star Rail and how to farm them
Players must collect Tatters of Thoughts, Fragments of Impression, Shards of Desires, Chordal Mirage, and credits to ascend Sunday.
Here are all the items needed to ascend Sunday in Honkai Star Rail:

Players must farm for materials in the Penacony areas for ascending Sunday. Given that Sunday is a character from the Penacony story chapter and like Firefly, Boothill, and Aventurine, the materials needed to unlock him are exclusive to the Penacony areas.
The following enemies in Penacony will drop the materials above:
- Allseer
- Heartbreaker
- Insatiable Vanity
- Something in the Mirror
- Shell of Faded Rage
- Sombrous Sepulcher
- Something Unto Death
Players who have not reached Penacony can find these enemies in the simulated universe and divergent universe game modes. They can also craft them through the omni-synthesizer through either material exchange or material synthesis.
Like other harmony characters, Sunday uses Chordal Mirage for his later ascension levels. Players can find this material in Stagnant Shadow: Penacony Grand Theater in Penacony. Chordal Mirage is also available to craft on the omni-synthesizer if players have the equivalent or required materials.

Players can find trace materials on Calyx: The Reverie (Dreamscape). They can also craft these materials through equivalent material exchange and synthesis in the omni-synthesizer. Lost Echo of the Shared Wish can be found in Echo of War: Penacony Grand Theater once players complete enough of the story. The material cannot be crafted through the omni-synthesizer, so new players must play through the game to max out Sunday.
Tracks of Destiny can be obtained through simulated universe point rewards, nameless honor, and embers exchange. There is also a limited-time reward for certain events, so players should be on the lookout for those, particularly on social media.
