With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 looming, the John Wick skin made a surprise return to the shop, and he’s not alone.
Last seen during a brief window during the 2023 holidays, Fortnite fans have been waiting for a second run of Keanu Reeves’ iconic action movie character. Wick maintains its status as a Legendary Character, costing players 2,000 V-Bucks. Still, as a long-time fan-favorite character, it’s likely that there will be a lot of the assassin running around in the upcoming season.
John Wick returns as what is set to be a series of returns for major licensed skins. According to NotPalo, the run will also include the returns of Yennefer and Ciri from The Witcher, The Walking Dead, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For many, however, Wick will be the star of the show.
John Wick Fortnite skins price, and when they leave the shop
The John Wick bundle costs 2,400 V-Bucks, or 2,000 just for the skin. This is a 900 V-Buck discount relative to buying each item individually.
The John Wick bundle contains:
- Four John Wick outfits; Default, Damaged, Bowery Black, and High Table Duel
- The Assassin Pack
- Wick’s Katana back bling
- The simple sledge and katana pickaxes
- Assassin wrap
Additionally, players have three new emote options for John Wick. Two, the Bulletproof and the Be Seeing You emotes, cost 200 V-Bucks each. The Lights Out emote is 400 V-Bucks, with a candelabra for the character to interact with.
Different challenges, daily or seasonal, allows players to earn and accumulate V-Bucks. For those who don’t want to grind to save up, V-Bucks can also be purchased from the Fortnite Store. In real world terms, the John Wick bundle of Fortnite skins and items costs about $17.
The John Wick skin bundle will likely be cycled out of the Fortnite shop on May 24. An official end date for Wick’s return hasn’t been announced, but precedent and Chapter 5 Season 3’s impending start make this a likely occurrence.
What can be expected going into Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3?
Fortnite is teasing that Chapter 5, Season 3: Wrecked will include a dust-swept collaboration with Fallout.
One of Fortnite’s more recent tweets features an emoji version of the Vault Boy, with a smiling face and thumbs up. Fallout recently has seen a surge in popularity after releasing a critically acclaimed television show. A collaboration would benefit both franchises, but the two won’t be going exclusive, given Fallout doing something similar with Call of Duty.
Additionally, it seems that the sandstorm will be a major problem in Season 3. Hopefully, fans will find that John Wick is useful in Chapter 5, Season 3. Every action has consequences, after all.
