MrBeast’s Beast Games show was reportedly rigged, dangerous

MrBeast Beast Games

YouTuber Rosanna Pansino is revisiting some of her past allegations against MrBeast with new reports of Beast Games being rigged, dangerous, and run on bribery.

A bad week for MrBeast might just be getting worse. In March 2024, MrBeast announced a show in collaboration with Prime Video called Beast Games. The show will feature thousands of contestants fighting for $5 million, making it one of the most lucrative game shows in television history. At the time of its reveal, MrBeast said he wanted to make the “greatest show possible” to prove what YouTubers can do on other platforms.

“I hope to make the YouTube community proud,” MrBeast told fans.

The details of the show have been kept very private, but the Beast Games are clearly some type of challenge-focused reality show with contestants getting eliminated due to bad performances. Nothing was confirmed by MrBeast but recent allegations from Vital Vegas and other informants has revealed what is possibly going on behind the scenes.

Contestants reportedly denied medication, hospitalized during MrBeast’s Beast Games show

News outlets and contestants have reported that MrBeast’s Beast Games show was dangerous and denied contestants food and medication. The reports are largely similar to past allegations regarding MrBeast’s YouTube content from individuals including Rosanna Pansino.

Vital Vegas, a news outlet out of Las Vegas where the show takes place, was the first to share accusations against Beast Games. With thousands of contestants spotted in Las Vegas buildings and ads for contestants to prove their physical strength in tryouts, it has become quite difficult to keep the entire show under wraps. Last week, reports started coming out that multiple contestants experienced medical issues, including dehydration.

According to Vital Vegas, that overnight shift felt the production was a “s—show and unprepared” for the scale of people involved. The show had “bare bones” medical staff on-site and appeared to be making decisions on the fly.

After these reports, YouTuber Rosanna Pansino said she started collecting messages from contestants regarding MrBeast and his show, some of which who were actively participating in Beast Games. The participants are allegedly “scared” for the safety of themselves and others involved.

Is Beast Games rigged?

Contestants have reportedly claimed that Beast Games was rigged, with the MrBeast-led game show being designed to favor young male contestants. Pansino says one contestant told her that the challenges would be fair, but later found out it was largely speed and strength.

“Only the young, athletic males were at an advantage over the women and elderly that were also casted. Men started realizing they could take out the women without being eliminated. Men started tackling and hitting women,” the anonymous contestant wrote to Pansino.

She wrote that she felt she was “set up to fail,” especially when the violent men were not eliminated for hurting others. These contests resulted in contestants suffering serious injuries including broken bones and cuts that required stitches. Meanwhile, the contestant reportedly said MrBeast was watching the “peasants” fight below him for the prize money.

The letter continued to accuse the show’s production of not providing enough food and water, resulting in many people only having 400 calories a day. She claimed staff was also not properly administering the contestants’ medicine. One woman even allegedly had a seizure when staff denied her medication during filming.

MrBeast and the Beast Games production reportedly then offered “hush money” to contestants regarding these issues. They were reportedly offered $1,000 initially, with an additional $1,000 offered later for “inconveniences” after Vital Vegas and other outlets began reporting on the show.

Who is Rosanna Pansino?

Rosanna Pansino is a 39-year-old YouTuber who has a history with acting and working on television. She has 14.5 million subscribers on YouTube now, where she often does cooking shows, viral challenges, and exposes.

While most of her viewers applauded her for exposing the possible dangers with Beast Games, others accused her of trying to tarnish MrBeast’s name. But what is her connection with the big streamer?

Rosanna Pansino previously appeared in one of MrBeast’s challenge videos where she participated in a game of hide and seek. She later accused him of editing the video to make her appear as if she performed worse than she did. She even claimed she had come in third place despite the video showing that three men had taken those spots, including Logan Paul.

During an interview on the H3H3 Podcast, Pansino said she wasn’t trying to make anyone look bad but had just been hurt by what happened. She says that she was met with death threats from MrBeast fans over this, and is better prepared for similar backlash now.

Beast Games does not yet have a release date from Prime Video. More may come out on the show as its release date approaches.
