After the success of previous collaborations, the Pokemon TCG is back in McDonald’s Happy Meals in 2024.

The Pokemon franchise is no stranger to crossovers with different brands. As the number one video game IP in the world, it’s unsurprising that so many brands have used the adorable pocket monsters as brand mascots. One of the Pokemon company’s most frequent collaborators is the number one fast food chain in the world.

Pokemon have appeared in countless McDonald’s Happy Mealst throughout the decades., This led to fans of all ages buying Happy Meal to collect ’em all. The Pokemon TCG is now returning to McDonald’s for a 2024 collaboration, but some are curious if the US will be part of the upcoming campaign.

The 2024 Pokemon TCG x McDonald’s collaboration is live in France

The Pokemon TCG x McDonald’s collaboration release date for the US is currently unknown. According to PokeBeach, the collaboration will reportedly last until January 2025. There have been no announcements about the collaboration coming to the US this time around, which is quite different since previous collaborations arrived in the US before other countries.

Still, trainers can purchase the promos on sites like eBay and TCG Player. But it may cost a bit more than the cards are worth due to demand. Waiting a bit will ensure trainers can purchase them for a lot less.
