Streamer Fousey taken into custody by police; here’s why

Fousey arrested

The streamer Yousef “Fousey” Saleh Erakat has apparently been taken into custody by police after losing his exclusive Kick contact and fans wonder what he did.

Fousey had a highly successful YouTube career thanks to his prank content. However, Fousey has found himself involved in too many controversies and scary moments these days. These controversies range from organizing a concert and falsely claiming that Drake would show up to punching his manager.

Fousey’s fight with his manager caused him to get banned from Kick and also lose his exclusive contract. The streamer posted an emotional video apologizing for his behavior and claiming he doesn’t remember anything. However, now the streamer has allegedly been arrested and fans want to know why.

Was Fousey arrested?

In a video Fousey shared on his account, police can be seen taking the streamer into custody.

The video starts with Fousey recording the police officers who are allegedly there to arrest him. The streamer talks to his mother and claims he was in 24-hour sedated sleep. He further stated that he woke up to lights in his face. A police officer can be heard saying that Fousey is being taken into custody because he is in danger of hurting people around him and himself.

The streamer later tweeted an explanation on his X account regarding the situation. He said he hadn’t slept in 24 hours and needed sleep but was woken up by 11 cops with cameras and guns. Fousey claimed the cops took him into custody while he was telling them he needs to sleep. The YouTuber said going without sleeping is bad for his mental state.

Fousey claimed that he “looked at the team” and they “promised this wouldn’t happen.” It’s unclear whether Fousey was actually arrested and what charges he might be facing.

The content creator has been publicly struggling for some time. Just a few weeks before being taken into custody, fans were worried for his life after his management team announced that he was missing. Though Fousey had actually just ghosted his team, he had spoken to dealing with mental health issues beforehand.

The streamer even admitted to having a manic episode in his emotional apology video after his Kick ban.
