The streamer and cosplayer Pinkchyu, ex-girlfriend of Twitch streamer John “Tectone” Robertson, made a series of posts on X alleging sexual abuse by a former romantic partner.
Pinkchyu has been involved in controversy since she was in a romantic relationship with perpetually combative streamer Tectone. She faced many questions regarding the nature of her relationship with him, as the two were seemingly official shortly after the divorce of the OTK Network streamer and vtuber Fream was finalized in 2022. Pinkchyu and Tectone were exchanging suggestive posts on social media just several weeks after the divorce was revealed.
New posts on social media state that it’s not just trolls on social media who were abusing Pinkchyu, though. On November 21, 2024, Pinkchyu made tweets stating that she suffered sexual and emotional abuse, and fans think she was talking about Tectone.
Was Tectone accused of abuse?
Tectone’s ex-girlfriend, Pinkchyu, stated that she was sexually and emotionally abused by a former partner. She does not explicitly state that it was Tectone, but notes in the thread, replies, and other tweets that it was a prominent streamer who she lived with.
As soon as she made the tweets fans started speculating that she was talking about Tectone. Pinkchyu discussed breaking up with Tectone on social media in August 2024. Tectone was her last publicly known partner.
Pinkchyu talks about her alleged sexual abuse
The streamer Pinkchyu tweeted on X and described sexual abuse she faced from an unnamed former partner.
Pinkchyu shared that after making her cry, her “abusive” partner attempted to force her into performing oral sex. The streamer claimed that her ex would make sexual demands after she cried because “emotions turned him on.” Furthermore, she alleged that he’d record her when he made her do something she didn’t like and would tell her to pretend she liked it.
In addition, the streamer claimed her ex would guilt trip her into performing sexual acts by telling her she doesn’t pay rent and needs to do her job. Pinkchyu also stated that he didn’t touch her or have sexual intercourse with her, but degraded her with sexual acts.
Moreover, the cosplayer alleged that her ex-partner “crushed” her self-worth by making her feel ugly. She claimed he’d tell her to not wear loose clothes, critique her hair, and tell her to wear makeup while at home. Pinkchyu stated that she was warned regarding this person, but says she was manipulated by her ex. She also stated that she was told of this same partner abusing others.
Pinkchyu ended her tweets by letting her fans know she is safe and has her own place to live now. The streamer told her fans to not worry and that she’s “taking it one day at a time.”
Though Pinkchyu did not explicitly name Tectone as the person who abused her, Tectone responded and effectively confirmed he was the one being discussed.
“I did everything for you, I helped you with everything, I fixed everything for you. I was there for you like nobody else was there for you in your whole life,” Tectone said.
