A new MOBA has entered the competitive scene, and Supervive has the in-depth tier list to prove it.
Marketed as “MOBA meets Battle Royale,” Supervive is a game that appeals to the hyper-competitive gamer. With its blend of sandbox combat and sleek MOBA fun, Supervive takes those tropes and makes something new. The MOBA royale still has tens of thousands of players daily since its November 2024 debut.
It helps that Supervive is one of the most balanced MOBAs on the market. Game balancing is a different beast and fans praised Supervive developers for not being utterly broken. But like any competitive game, some characters will reach the top of the tier lists, while others languish at the bottom.
Supervive Tier List: Best hunters at launch
The best Supervive characters are Felix, Shiv, Hudson, and Joule.
- S-Tier: Felix, Shiv, Hudson, Joule
- A-Tier: Bishop, Brall, Celeste, Jin, Myth, Zaph, Oath
- B-Tier: Elluna, Ghost, Kingpin, Void
- C-Tier: Shrike
Hunters in Supervive are all built with a specific theme in mind. For example, Kingpin is made to disrupt the positions of enemy teams and force a 4v3. Meanwhile, hunters like Jin want to disrupt enemy backlines and burst the support.
S-Tier: Felix, Shiv, Hudson, and Joule
The S-Tiers in this game can single-handedly shift the tides of battle on their own. As a frontline, Felix can deal devastating damage with his ultimate. He can also pull enemies in a circle toward him which can set up for massive damage from his teammates. Add his shield to the mix, and it’s easy to see how he ranks so high on the Supervive tier list.
Hudson, Shiv, and Joule are all hunters who can deal tons of damage. Joule, for example, has unmatched burst damage which can take a lot of players off guard. Shiv can deal solid damage while chasing down opponents who are running away. Hudson is a controller hunter who can do massive damage during sustained team fights.
A-Tier: Bishop, Brall, Celeste, Jin, Myth, Zaph, and Oath
While not as powerful as S-Tiers, the A-Tiers in Supervive is still a force to be reckoned with. These characters can and will take over games when left unchecked.
There’s an argument to be had where Jin and Brall could be S-Tiers. But it can take quite a while for players to get to that optimal state. Even then, they could easily be caught off position and are generally not that much of a stable pick like other hunters. To reach the peak of the Supervive tier list, a character needs to be downright oppressive.
Bishop, Oath, and Celeste are all hunters who can disrupt enemy positions. Displacing opponents and dealing tons of damage while doing makes for an efficient frontliner. Bishop’s versatility in long and short-range combat makes him a great fit for the role.
Oath’s ultimate practically hits across the map and can stun a whole team which is a death sentence. Celeste is one of the only hunters in the game with an ultimate who can deny a zone from opponents. Myth is a great sustained damage dealer and zoner. Even if she’s a slow character and relies heavily on her teammates, her ability to perform her duty as a zoner puts her high on the rankings.
Zaph is currently the best healer in the game, with everything a support could want. He can transport teammates, heal with AoE, and fire an ultimate that can revive friendly wisps. On top of this, he also has a displacement ability that can lock down vital opponents for his team.
B-Tier: Elluna, Ghost, Kingpin, and Void
B-tier hunters are decent characters who can still perform well in the right hands. They are still solid characters. They simply don’t perform as well as the ones in A-Tier.
Elluna is the other healer in Supervive and is almost always overshadowed by Zaph. She doesn’t have group mobility like Zaph does, but she has an AoE heal that can prop her and her teammates. Her ultimate takes a long time to cast, which is a huge downside. Her biggest upside is her ability to bring friendly wisps and walk around while reviving them.
Ghost is another damage dealer in Supervive. He’s one of the easiest characters to pick up. His downside is that he doesn’t deal as much damage as Joule and Shiv. While Joule and Shiv’s abilities are more complex, those layers are worth the damage they provide.
Kingpin and Void both do the same thing: displacement. Kingpin can grab one player. It doesn’t matter if it’s an enemy or a teammate. Void’s ultimate is a huge blackhole that can suck all opponents within an AoE and open them up to devastating damage from his teammates. While solid utility skills, they need a strong team to back them up. That’s why they rank in the middle of the Supervive tier list.
C-Tier: Shrike
Unfortunately, Shrike is the lone C-tier representative of the Supervive tier list.
Shrike, in a game of position displacement, stuns, roots, is just not the right hunter to pick for damage. She can two-shot most hunters, but if she gets dived by characters like Jin, she’s toast. While a glass cannon character can still work, it’s much harder to justify in a chaotic game. She can certainly gatekeep newbies with her high damage. Once they learn to fight back, Shrike’s viability goes way down.
