Zenless Zone Zero gave fans a surprise in its drip marketing, highlighting Tsukishiro Yanagi as an upcoming playable character coming in ZZZ patch 1.3.
The game currently has seven factions and with each patch, new agents get added. In patch 1.2, Caesar King and Burnice White from the Sons of Calydon were added to the lineup. Meanwhile, patch 1.1 saw a total of four Criminal Investigation Special Response Team join the roster. In the upcoming version 1.3, one agent from the Hollow Special Operations Section 6 faction is confirmed to be making her entrance; Tsukishiro Yanagi.
Back in version 1.0, Tsukishiro Yanagi showed up during the Foliage Hunt quest with fellow faction members Harumasa and Miyabi. With her official drip marketing being out, more details about her have come to light. Here’s what’s known about Tsukishiro Yanagi so far.
Tsukishiro Yanagi attribute, class confirmed after ZZZ leaks
Tsukishiro Yanagi, the Deputy Chief of Section 6 is joining the roster as an S-rank electric anomaly unit.
Yanagi being an electric unit isn’t much of a surprise anymore. During the Foliage Hunt quest, she teamed up in the fight against Nineveh and was briefly shown using electric attacks. Additionally, her official drip marketing also confirmed that the Deputy Chief is an Anomaly unit. Although details about her kit are still kept hidden, some data mines and leaks have revealed details on what she offers to a team.
Reports suggest her core skill offers a boost to Anomaly Mastery of up to 32%. Under certain conditions, she can also reduce electric resistance by 20% and provide a 30% bonus to both disorder and general damage. She’s said to be able to switch between two stances using her EX special skill, which costs 60 energy. As for her ultimate, it boosts damage by up to 20% and includes a time-slow effect afterward.
Leaks haven’t clarified yet whether these buffs apply to the whole team or just to Yanagi herself. However, more details about her kit will likely start to come out ahead of her launch or as the 1.3 beta begins.
What is the release date of Tsukishiro Yanagi in Zenless Zone Zero?
Yanagi will appear in ZZZ version 1.3, which is scheduled to hit the live servers on November 4, 2024.
As the first character revealed, Yanagi is expected to kick things off in the first phase of the patch, followed by another S-rank agent. Rumors suggest that Lighter, teased as a fifth member of the Sons of Calydon faction, will join during the second phase as an S-rank fire attack. If that’s the case, Lighter would be the first male S-rank character featured in the limited banner.
Yanagi will be the second character from the HSOS6 faction, joining Soukaku.
