Connie is back in ZZZ, and while most of the Scene One, Shot One photos have been easy to accomplish, the task of finding all six bird locations at the Scott Outpost is brutally tough.
HoYoverse rolled out some improvements to the camera functionality in Zenless Zone Zero, and it wants players to know. To do this, and to keep players busy until Burnice and Caesar arrive, it’s running the Scene One, Shot One event, offering players the usual roundup of resources and Scene One, Shot One to take some photos. The bulk of this is taking photos of playable characters with specific filters, but that’s not all.
Players have to wrack their brains remembering the locations of props, like the bikes in Lumina Square, to get everything. That might be frustrating in some cases, but it’s downright infuriating here. Finding six birds in and around the Scott Outpost is very difficult, and the finicky determination of what qualifies as a proper angle will leave ZZZ players fuming. To save others the frustration, here’s every bird in Scott Outpost, and where to photograph them from.
All Scott Outpost birds in ZZZ for Scene One, Shot One challenge
The birds in and around Scott Outpost are tough to find as they’re quite small, and often blend into the background when not seen from the correct angle. The “Target Spotted” prompt will help to some degree but even then, figuring out where the bird is in one’s sphere of vision is challenging sometimes. Here’s the breakdown of where each one is.
The first is perched atop the floodlights in the corner near the entrance to the outpost. This one isn’t too difficult to photograph, and the number of angles afforded to players is generous. The bird also stands out against the orange blackbird, making this one of the easier ones.
Harder to spot is the smaller bird perched on the corner of the cargo container next to the binocular stand. It easily blends in with the darker tones of the background, especially at night. But once again, the wide angles afforded to players makes this quite easy to handle.
This is where things get tougher. To the left of the main tent in Scott Outpost are two different bird spots. These need to be photographed from specific angles. Even if players have the birds fully visible and in-frame, they won’t count.
First, walk to the barrier next to the power station and look up. Perched on the stack of shipping containers are two white birds. Players need to snap the photo from this spot. For no reason in particular, if players photograph the bird from the entrance of Scott Outpost, it doesn’t count.
From this spot, turn around. Atop the tent are three blackbirds. Once again, players have to photograph them from roughly this spot; doing so closer to the entrance of the tent won’t count.
On the other side of the tent, stand near the “KEEP OUT” barricade. This is the toughest bird to spot, but one of the easiest to photograph. The small, white bird blends seamlessly into sanitation area. Thankfully, the bird doesn’t have to be close to centered in the shot; players can actually photograph the guard and will likely get credit.
Finally, stand to the left of the binoculars looking toward the hollow. The final bird in Scott Outpost can be found on the edge of the helipad.
