Version 2.0 is less than a month away, but data mines have already unveiled the full list of ascension and forte materials for Carlotta in Wuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves 2.0 is taking things to a whole new region called Rinascita. While not much is known about Rinascita, KuroGames has dropped some early glimpses at five new resonators from the area, including Carlotta. When it comes to combat, she is going to be the first 5-star Glacio gunner who will reportedly bring a totally new playstyle to the table.
While waiting for Carlotta’s debut on January 2, 2025, players can start farming some of her materials. But even though all of them are now known, most are tied to the new region, so collecting everything before her release won’t be possible.
All of Carlotta materials in Wuthering Waves
Carlotta’s ascension materials will be drops from a variety of yet-to-be released enemies who will arrive in the 2.0 update.
In total, she requires the same number of materials with the same sort of progression. The full lineup of materials to max her out includes 4 Basic unnamed enemy drop, 12 Medium enemy drop, 12 Advanced enemy drop, 4 Premium enemy drop, 46 Sentry Construct’s boss dropped materials, 60 Rinascita plant materials, and shell credits.
Listed below are all of Carlotta ascension materials for every level:
- Ascension Rank 1: 5,000 shell credits, 4 unnamed enemy drop
- Ascension Rank 2: 10,000 shell credits, 4 Rinascita plant materials, 3 Sentry Construct’s boss dropped materials, 4 unnamed enemy drop
- Ascension Rank 3: 15,000 shell credits, 8 Rinascita plant materials, 6 Sentry Construct’s boss dropped materials, 8 unnamed enemy drop
- Ascension Rank 4: 20,000 shell credits, 12 Rinascita plant materials, 9 Sentry Construct’s boss dropped materials, 4 unnamed enemy drop
- Ascension Rank 5: 40,000 shell credits, 16 Rinascita plant materials, 12 Sentry Construct’s boss dropped materials, 8 unnamed enemy drop
- Ascension Rank 6: 80,000 shell credits, 20 Rinascita plant materials, 16 Sentry Construct’s boss dropped materials, 4 unnamed enemy drop
Players will not be able to farm Carlotta’s ascension materials until after the release of Wuthering Waves version 2.0, with the sole exception being shell credits.
To farm shell credits in Wuthering Waves, there are plenty of options including dailies, finishing quests, visiting souvenir stores and shops, exploring the Illusive Realm, redeeming WuWa codes or completing the battle pass. The quickest way, though, is by jumping into Simulation Training in Jinzhou. Players can earn up to 80,000 Shell Credits per run, but it’ll cost them 40 waveplates.
When Rinascita arrives, rovers will get to face off against a new Spectro Overlord boss called Sentry Construct. Taking down this boss and spending 60 waveplates will reward players with the material needed for Camellya’s ascension. Players will likely encounter this boss while exploring the new region or progressing through the new quests.
One of the materials needed for Camellya’s ascension is a flower from Rinascita. Since the region’s not live yet, it’s not available and the flower doesn’t have a definite name.
Lastly, Carlotta will need some new weapon and skill materials from common enemies in Rinascita. Unfortunately, not much is known about them yet. Besides defeating these enemies, players can also pick up this material by spending currency in stores and weapon shops, or by diving into Forgery Challenges.
All Carlotta forte materials in WuWa
Carlotta’s forte materials are predominantly made up of dropped items from unreleased enemies, and Phlogiston.
Upgrading Carlotta’s forte will need Hecate’s dropped material, drops from a number of unnamed enemies, Hecate’s dropped material, Impure Phlogiston, Extracted Phlogiston, Refined Phlogiston, Flawless Phlogiston. Investing in Carlotta’s forte is a must as it translates to a significant boost in damage.
Here are all Carlotta materials needed for her forte ascension:
- 25 Basic unnamed enemy drop
- 28 Medium unnamed enemy drop
- 40 Advanced unnamed enemy drop
- 57 Premium unnamed enemy drop
- 26 Hecate’s dropped material
- 25 Impure Phlogiston
- 28 Extracted Phlogiston
- 55 Refined Phlogiston
- 67 Flawless Phlogiston
Though most of her forte materials won’t be available until after Wuthering Waves version 2.0 drops, players can pre-farm Phlogiston ahead of Carlotta’s release.
This material is classified into four types: Impure, Extracted, Refined, and Flawless. Phlogistons are primarily used for skill and weapon enhancement. Entering the Forgery Challenge: Marigold Woods, located in Central Plains, Huanglong, is the quickest method to obtain them. Alternatively, players can spend some of their shell credits to buy them from the weapon shop for 2400 each.
Similar to Sentry Construct, players will also need to take on Hecate, the new Spectro Calamity boss found in Rinascita. Like other Calamity bosses in the game, players must first complete the main quest before gaining access to its domain.
