Wuthering Waves: All Roccia ascension and forte materials

wuthering waves roccia materials

As Wuthering Waves prepares to welcome Roccia, a 5-star sub-DPS resonator, many players are keen to know more about her ascension materials so they can pre-farm for the character.

After teasing Rinascita, Sol-3’s second nation, KuroGames gave fans a look at two upcoming resonators for version 2.0. One of the characters introduced is Roccia, a charismatic figure who serves as the first mate of the Fools Troupe and has a talent for stagecraft. While details about her remain scarce, leaks hint at her being a havoc sub-DPS support, offering havoc and basic attack damage buffs.

Roccia’s ascension and forte materials have also been revealed in data mines, so players have the chance to prepare for her arrival in Wuthering Waves. Sadly, many of the materials won’t be available until Rinascita arrives in version 2.0.

All Roccia ascension materials in Wuthering Waves

Rocchia’s ascension materials are almost entirely found in Rinascita, and are drops from bosses that are not yet available in the game. To reach level 90, players must collect these Roccia materials; 4 basic unnamed enemy drop, Medium enemy drop, Advanced enemy drop, Premium enemy drop, Lorelei’s boss dropped materials, Rinascita plant materials, and shell credits.

Here’s the breakdown of all Roccia ascension materials for every level:

  • Ascension Rank 1: 5,000 shell credits, 4 unnamed enemy drop
  • Ascension Rank 2: 10,000 shell credits, 4 Rinascita plant materials, 3 Lorelei’s boss dropped materials, 4 unnamed enemy drop
  • Ascension Rank 3: 15,000 shell credits, 8 Rinascita plant materials, 6 Lorelei’s boss dropped materials, 8 unnamed enemy drop
  • Ascension Rank 4: 20,000 shell credits, 12 Rinascita plant materials, 9 Lorelei’s boss dropped materials, 4 unnamed enemy drop
  • Ascension Rank 5: 40,000 shell credits, 16 Rinascita plant materials, 12 Lorelei’s boss dropped materials, 8 unnamed enemy drop
  • Ascension Rank 6: 80,000 shell credits, 20 Rinascita plant materials, 16 Lorelei’s boss dropped materials, 4 unnamed enemy drop

The only material players will be able to farm for Roccia’s ascensions prior to Wuthering Waves 2.0 are shell credits. Fellow upcoming resonator Carlotta is in a similar situation.

Shell credit serves as the primary currency in Wuthering Waves, and are essential for upgrading resonators, weapons, and buying items from shops. While it’s easy to accumulate through daily tasks, events, exploration, redeeming codes, and chest rewards, they vanish just as quickly. To stockpile some cash, consider running Simulation Training in Jinzhou. Each run can reward up to 80,000 shell credits but will cost players some waveplates.

Besides new resonators, Rinascita will also introduce new bosses like Lorelei. By defeating this boss and claiming its drops, players will receive some of the materials needed to ascend Roccia, among other resources. However, it’s important to note that until Rinascita is released, players won’t be able to acquire these materials just yet.

Roccia’s ascension will also require a specific plant exclusively found within Rinascita. When the new region opens, players can immediately hop into exploration and collect them in the overworld.

Also, rovers will need to hunt down new Rinascita mobs and common enemies. Just like other Roccia materials, players will have to spend some time on launch day tracking down new Tacet Discords. Besides taking down these monsters, they can also get some from the weapon shop, souvenir stores, and forgery challenges.

Roccia forte materials

Maxing out Roccia’s talents includes gathering Basic Unnamed enemy drop, Medium Unnamed enemy drop, Advanced Unnamed enemy drop, Premium Unnamed enemy drop, Hecate’s dropped material, Cadence Seed, Cadence Bud, Cadence Leaf and Cadence Blossom.

Here is the list of all materials needed for Roccia’s forte ascension:

  • 25 Basic unnamed enemy drop
  • 28 Medium unnamed enemy drop
  • 40 Advanced unnamed enemy drop
  • 57 Premium unnamed enemy drop
  • 26 Hecate’s dropped material
  • 25 Cadence Seed
  • 28 Cadence Bud
  • 55 Cadence Leaf
  • 67 Cadence Blossom

Just like soon-to-be Carlotta mains, players planning to pull for Roccia will need to get ready for version 2.0’s new calamity boss, Hecate. Every calamity boss in Wuthering Waves can only be fought for material drops after progressing through the main quest, and this could be the case for the Rinascita boss as well.

Luckily, Cadence Seed, Cadence Bud, Cadence Leaf, and Cadence Blossom can all be farmed before Wuthering Waves version 2.0 arrives. These weapon and skill enhancement materials can be obtained through the Forgery Challenge: Moonlit Groves. This challenge is located in Wuming Bay, Huanglong area, and each run can reward different amounts of these materials, though players will need to spend some waveplates.
