As in many good life sim, Pokemon Pokopia players have the option to experiment with flavors and foods, and we’ve assembled all of them that are available in the game so far.

Pokopia launched on March 5, 2026 to significant excitement and acclaim. From befriending Pokemon to restoring habitats, the game takes a break from the traditional battling to slow down.

One of the major parts of Pokopia involves keeping Pokemon happy and comfortable. An easy way to do that is to find out what food and flavors they like. Plus, players may even get a boost for themselves.

All natural food flavors in Pokopia

Pokopia has several flavors and tons of different food players can give to Pokemon, including natural food options ranging from bitter and sweet and more between.

Food is a major way to increase a Pokemon’s comfort level and make them generally happier. While they will accept any food the player gives them, each Pokemon has a preferred food or flavor profile. There are six major categories of food, which can be found in game and be cooked.

Natural foods can be found all across Pokopia. Players are able to harvest some, like berries or cave mushrooms, by exploring. Others need to be farmed and harvested, such as beans and tomatoes. Drinks, meanwhile, come from vending machines or the daily shop.

FlavorNatural Food
NoneLeppa berry, lum berry, water
BitterRawst berry, potato, seaweed, Roserade tea
DryChesto berry, cave mushroom, wheat, soda pop
SpicyCarrot, chili sauce
SourAspear berry, tomato
SweetPecha berry, bean, Moomoo milk coffee

Mosslax in particular especially enjoys natural foods, and each such offering grants a different boon. These range from increased bonding rates to higher chances of seeing Ho-Oh and Lugia. All benefits are temporary, though, so players will need to keep bringing flavorful food.

Regardless of the abundance of natural foods and flavors in Pokopia, some Pokemon will always prefer cooked food. Fortunately, cooking is an easy skill for players to unlock.

All cooked food and their flavors in Pokopia

Some Pokemon prefer cooked foods with set flavors, and players can even get a power-up from them.

Cooking in Pokemon games has been around since Diamond/Pearl. Sword/Shield involves using curry to restore Pokemon and unlock items, whereas Scarlet/Violet sandwiches improve catch and egg rates. Now, Pokopia’s flavors and recipes add a new cookbook to the list.

How to unlock cooking in Pokopia

To unlock cooking, players need to finish the quest “Yawn Up a Storm!” in the Withered Wasteland. This then unlocks Rocky Ridges behind the northwest green gate. After fixing up the PC at the Pokemon Center, Chef Dente introduces himself and teaches the player several recipes.

There are several stations the player needs to unlock to cook at, including the stove, bread oven, and cooking pot. Additionally, some Pokemon have special abilities required to cook some foods.

All foods and their flavors

Like with natural foods, cooked meals with the corresponding flavors make Pokemon more friendly by improving their comfort levels. However, consuming food also grants the player power-ups for their abilities, like Cut and Water Gun.
