Despite not being a League of Legends champion, Isha is one of the most important characters in Arcane Season 2, but is she dead after the events of Act 2?
Arcane Season 2 has introduced a number of new characters, ranging from Warwick in several episodes to Orianna easter eggs to brand new influential players. One such player is the silent orphan Isha, a child from Zaun who befriends Jinx when she has no one. Isha is crucial to Jinx growing from a deeply troubled teen to someone with something to live for. Plus, she’s cute as a button and a bright light in the dark themes of the show.
Act 2 ends explosively, and not every character makes it out alright. Here’s what happens to Isha in Arcane.
Does Isha really die in Arcane Season 2?
Isha seemingly sacrifices herself to allow Jinx and the others to escape from the Noxian army, but she isn’t confirmed to be dead as of episode six.
An enraged and wounded Warwick finds himself fighting against Ambessa’s Noxian armies who are aiding the invasion of Zaun. In trying to defend Vander, both Jinx and Vi get hurt. To save her friend, Isha decides to overload Jinx’s gun with hextech crystals. When fired, this causes a massive explosion that seems to take out Warwick and some of the army.
Jinx, Vi, and Cait are all confirmed to survive the blast with the Act 3 trailer. Isha, however, seems to have sacrificed herself to allow her hero and savior to survive.
Will Isha come back in Act 3?
Isha isn’t confirmed to be dead, but she doesn’t appear in Arcane Season 2 Act 3 trailers, hinting that she may be gone for good.
Isha is noticeably absent, both in person and in conversation mentions. Almost every other major player is either seen or mentioned. This suggests that she won’t play a major role in the rest of the show.
However, death is sometimes just an inconvenience in Arcane. The presumably dead Vander turns out to be the experimental werewolf creature Warwick. Viktor technically died at the end of Arcane Season 1, but is resurrected through hextech near the start of Arcane Season 2. Jayce also disappeared into the arcane for most of Act 2, but reemerged.
There’s always the possibility that Isha isn’t dead or can be revived in a new form.
Fans have to wait until November 23 to see if Isha will be in Arcane Act 3. Both her absence or presence could be major factors for how Jinx’s arc finishes.
