A recent social media post has given fans hope that former esports pro Mason “Symfuhny” and fellow streamer BrookeAB are back together in a relationship again.
The popular streamers were together for five years when they announced a seemingly sudden breakup in June 2024. At the time, BrookeAB shared a post on Instagram that said their years together were “amazing” and this was an “incredibly hard” decision. They then asked for no negativity from fans regarding the split.
Are the two streamers back together? A new post indicates that they just might be.
BrookeAB and Symfuhny may have resumed relationship
On August 29, BrookeAB posted a picture on X with the caption: “Back by unpopular demand.” In the photo, she is wearing a white dress while Symfuhny is seen kissing her cheek.
Fans were excited to see the reunion between the two former lovers. Many expressed that they now believed in love again and even exclaimed that “love is real.” While the post stopped many fans from giving up on love, BrookeAB didn’t outright confirm that the two were officially together.
When one fan wrote that they believed in love again, BrookeAB replied with the happy tear emoji and heart emojis. When 100 Thieves’ Nadeshot added that the timing was perfect with Black Ops 6 around the corner, BrookeAB shared a popular meme that indicated she was not pleased with the upcoming game. This could be due to the fact that Symfuhny will probably be spending a lot of time streaming that game instead of spending more time with her.
Symfuhny retweeted the photo as well, which further pointed to BrookeAB and Symfuhny being officially back together.
Why did BrookeAB and Symfuhny break up?
BrookeAB and Symfuhny never shared publicly why the relationship fell apart and resulted in a break up a few months ago, but there is some speculation to go on.
One rumor is that BrookeAB wanted to take the relationship to the next step while Symfuhny wasn’t as sure. This speculation came from fans noticing that Symfuhny didn’t seem to be as into the relationship as she did, appearing more nonchalant at times.
Many of those fans commented at the time that the relationship dynamic felt off sometimes, including BrookeAB wanting to travel and Symfuhny expressing wanting to stay at home.
Another rumor was that it was due to BrookeAB’s creepy stalker driving a wedge in the relationship. The streamer opened up a few years ago about online stalkers and it seems that some of those stalkers have remained consistent through the present time. Fans worried that BrookeAB being single would make the stalker feel as if he had “won,” driving them to work even harder to harass her.
At this time, these are all just speculations. The popular content creators have never shared the exact reason the relationship ended but it seems like the two have worked through their issues and are very likely back together again.
