Why quqco was banned from Twitch and when she’ll be back

quqco twitch ban

Popular streamer quqco has been banned on Twitch for the sixth time, and fans are wondering why and whether it’s permanent this time around or if she’ll be back soon.

quqco is popular for multiple reasons. Not only does frequently do cooking streams, but her cosplay streams have also attracted a sizeable fanbase. She has a YouTube channel that she does use, but she’s more active on her Twitch channel where she shares her content and butts heads with the Twitch guidelines often enough to lead to multiple bans.

Twitch takes its rules seriously and has banned many streamers including Nickmercs and Morgpie for breaking them. Much of quqco’s content revolves around cosplays, which are tricky to manage and can easily go against rules. quqco has been banned again from Twitch, and here is all we know about the ban.

Why did quqco receive a ban on Twitch?

quqco states that she received a ban from Twitch because of a wardrobe malfunction that caused her stream to go against the terms and conditions of Twitch.

quqco made a post on X to explain to fans why she was banned from Twitch and whether she will return soon. She stated there that while she was streaming the bottom part of her cosplay outfit was ripped, and even though she was streaming in the pool category and was wearing more clothes beneath the outfit, Twitch banned her for the offense.

It should be noted that the only sign of a pool was an image of one that the streamer had placed on the screen, likely as an attempt to get around the requirements for the category.

quqco further elaborated that she disagreed with the decision as she was wearing underwear beneath the outfit and thus no rules were technically broken. She also claims that she moved away from the screen as fast as she could.

But this isn’t the first time the streamer was banned for this particular offense. She has been banned in the past for sexually suggestive content including a risque Chun-Li cosplay.

When will quqco be back on Twitch?

quqco confirmed in her X post that her ban is temporary and that she will be back to streaming on Twitch soon. This was much to the relief of her many fans.

In her X post, quqco made clear that the ban is temporary. Fans won’t have to wait too long to view their favorite streamer’s content as quqco stated she will return to streaming as soon as August 30. This means that the streamer was banned for less than 48 hours. Her previous ban was for three days, a greater length of time, so it seems that Twitch doesn’t see this latest issue as a major violation.

All the same, the streamer will likely be more careful in the near future in order to avoid a longer list of bans piling up that could lead to greater punishments.

quqco has steadily added to her fan following as a streamer and content creator. She was notably present at the 2024 Streamer Awards, where gallivanted with some of the most popular and best-known streamers on Twitch.

This latest setback is likely only a temporary one for quqco, though without any official word being provided by Twitch as to the nature or duration of her ban, fans only have her word to go on. Until her account is restored, some questions will likely continue to linger.
