The streamer Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt finally talked about John “Tectone” Robertson’s accusations in a stream after the latter’s split from OTK Network.
The controversial streamer Tectone is embroiled in controversy once again after he was accused of sexual abuse by his ex-partner Pinkchyu. While Pinkchyu hadn’t named anyone in her accusations, Tectone replied and effectively confirmed that the cosplayer was talking about him. Furthermore, the streamer claimed she was lying and that he’d sue her if she didn’t apologize.
This drama is ongoing, and only time will tell whether Tectone files a lawsuit and the outcome of the legal battle. However, fans noticed that Tectone was removed from the OTK creator’s page. Now, Asmongold has talked about the matter in a stream.
Asmongold says Tectone should be jailed if the allegations are true
In a stream, Asmongold stated that Tectone should be imprisoned if the allegations against him are proven to be true.
Asmongold said he doesn’t want to talk too much about the accusations as they are severe and a legal matter. However, Asmongold claimed that if the allegations are true then they should result in jail time. The streamer refused to speculate regarding the veracity of the claims, simply noting that Pinkchyu states that the allegations are true, while Tectone claims they’re a lie.
The streamer Asmongold has a large following and steered well clear of saying anything concrete. He didn’t give anything revelatory, save for some information on the nature of Tectone’s split from OTK Network.
Asmongold states Tectone’s contract with OTK Network expired
Asmongold stated that Tectone isn’t renewing his contract with the OTK Network.
In a stream, Tectone claimed that he had resigned from the OTK Network because it was a “weakness.” The streamer claimed he doesn’t like having weaknesses and how people can go after others because of him. The allegations against Tectone were the latest in a string of accusations regarding sexual abuse or violence perpetrated by OTK Network members.
Asmongold, for his part, effectively said Tectone’s claims of resigning from OTK Network weren’t true.
Instead, the OTK Network founder says that Tectone’s contract ran out and that he’s opting not to renew. Streamers of a certain size will often opt to be independent rather than attached to a network or esports organization. This is because it can potentially lead to more lucrative sponsorship opportunities.
Tectone also said he will continue to be a troll, but he doesn’t want that to affect OTK. Furthermore, the streamer stated that he likes OTK and the work they’re doing.
