Farming Will in Black Myth: Wukong is an essential facet of character and weapon progression as it is the main currency in the game.
Black Myth: Wukong doesn’t shy away from its FromSoftware influence. The combat is fast-paced and reactive, the game offers plenty of nooks and crannies to explore, and there are secret bosses just waiting to steamroll unsuspecting players. Naturally, the game also has a farmable currency called “Will.”
Will is easy to farm, especially if the player knows all the best ways to do so. With the best farming spots nailed down, it becomes easy to farm Will conveniently and purchase or upgrade weapons and armor. Thanks to farming methods, players will be rolling in Will quickly.
Black Myth: Wukong how to farm Will in the game
Killing enemies, selling items, and breaking pots are the go-to methods for getting Will in Black Myth: Wukong.
The methodology for getting Will shouldn’t be shocking. Players will naturally find themselves raking it in simply by playing the game. The primary way to get it is by beating enemies, but offloading treasures and smashing pots is also profitable.
Defeating enemies
The best way to get Will quickly and efficiently is to defeat enemies and collect Will. Black Myth: Wukong has Shrines where the Chosen One can rest, like Soulslike games. So the farming cycle is also the same here: kill enemies, collect Will, and rest at a shrine to respawn enemies.
Crack all pots
Just like enemies, pots scattered across the game can also contain Will. So, according to the Legend of Zelda logic, players should smash everything they see. Generally, break every pot wherever you go to maximize Will farming.
Will can also be seen floating around the world. Players should keep their eyes peeled for the Will bubbles and grab them when possible. It’s not a repeatable farm, but extra currency never hurts.
Sell Tiny Pieces of Gold
The Tiny Piece of Gold is a treasure item in Black Myth: Wukong. The uncommon treasure item, usually found in chests, can be exchanged at the store for Will. Each Tiny Piece of Gold is worth 99 Will.
While it doesn’t give a ton of Will, it can be found in treasure chests across the game. If the player is already farming the Refined Iron Sand, they’ll surely get a few Tiny Pieces of Gold as well.
The best spots and places to farm Will in Black Myth: Wukong
The most efficient Will farming spot in Black Myth: Wukong is by the Pool of Shattered Jade shrine in the Webbed Hollow.
In general, the best places to defeat enemies are near a Shrine so the player can quickly reset the enemies. A couple of Shrines in the early area are perfect for Will farming. The Snake Trail in Bamboo Grove, Outside the Cave in Black Wind Cave, and the Forest in Forest of Wolves are great places to farm Will.
The best place to farm Will in Black Myth: Wukong overall is the Pool of Shattered Jade in the Webbed Hollow, which is found in Chapter 4. This area has loads of spider eggs dangling from the ceiling. Killing all these eggs nets 3,100 Will and if players max out their AOE abilities, they can do a sweep of the area and return to the shrine in under 30 seconds. Players will have to do some work in terms of advancing this far into the game and making this an efficient process, but the rewards are massive.
