Complete ZZZ Vivian pre-farm guide for promotion materials

zenless vivian materials

Vivian is the first Ether Anomaly agent, and she is soon to arrive in Zenless Zone Zero as players prepare for which materials they’ll need to farm before pulling for her.

The first lineup from the Mockingbird faction is set to make an appearance. Vivian is one of two new characters debuting in the next patch and is confirmed to be an Ether Anomaly agent. Leaks suggest that, much like Burnice, she is an off-fielder who may have strong synergy with other Anomaly agents, including Jane and Yanagi.

Vivian will launch with version 1.7, giving players ample time to pre-farm her materials. Here’s a breakdown of everything needed and how to obtain it.

All Vivian promotion materials in ZZZ

Maxing out Vivian requires a variety of Anomaly Certification Seals and some dennies.

  • Level 20: 4 Basic Anomaly  Certification Seal and 24,000 dennies
  • Level 30: 12 Advanced Anomaly  Certification Seal and 56,000 dennies
  • Level 40: 20 Advanced Anomaly  Certification Seal and 120,000 dennies
  • Level 50: 10 Controller Certification Seal and 200,000 dennies
  • Level 60: 20 Controller Certification Seal and 400,000 dennies

How to get Vivian materials for promotion

A handful of Anomaly Certification Seals will be among the materials required to promote purple-haired agent Vivian. The most straightforward way to obtain the seals is by visiting the HIA Club, though it will cost platers some batteries in exchange. For those with extra seals, ZZZ offers a crafting and dismantling feature that allows players to convert low-tier items into high-tier ones, and vice versa.

Vivian skill level-up materials

Like other Ether characters in Zenless Zone Zero, Vivian requires Ether Chips to upgrade her skills to level 12.

  • Level 2: 2 Basic Ether Chips, 2,000 dennies
  • Level 3: 3 Basic Ether Chips, 3,000 dennies
  • Level 4: 2 Advanced Ether Chips and 6,000 dennies
  • Level 5: 3 Advanced Ether Chips and 9,000 dennies
  • Level 6: 4 Advanced Ether Chips and 12,000 dennies
  • Level 7: 6 Advanced Ether Chips and 18,000 dennies
  • Level 8: 5 Specialized Ether Chips and 45,000 dennies
  • Level 9: 8 Specialized Ether Chips and 67,500 dennies
  • Level 10: 10 Specialized Ether Chips and 90,000 dennies
  • Level 11: 12 Specialized Ether Chips and 112,500 dennies
  • Level 12: 15 Specialized Ether Chips, 1 Hamster Cage Pass, and 135,000 dennies

Best ways to get Vivian skill-level up materials

Ether Chips are obtained from the HIA club, similar to how promotion materials are acquired.

Conversely, Hamster Cage Pass is only required for maxing out an agent’s talents. As of now, there are only two main sources for this: events and the battle pass. Each patch features a flagship event that grants Hamster Cage upon reaching a certain milestone. Additionally, two pieces can be obtained from The New Eridu City Fund: one from the free tier and another from the paid version.

All Vivian core skill materials

As an Anomaly agent, upgrading her core skills is crucial. This requires collecting Higher Dimensional Data: Thunderous Dragon, Sycophant’s Refinement, and dennies.

  • A: 5,000 dennies
  • B: 2 Higher Dimensional Data: Thunderous Dragon and 12,000 dennies
  • C: 4 Higher Dimensional Data: Thunderous Dragon and 28,000 dennies
  • D: 9 Higher Dimensional Data: Thunderous Dragon, 2 Sycophant’s Refinement, and 60,000 dennies
  • E: 15 Higher Dimensional Data: Thunderous Dragon, 3 Sycophant’s Refinement, and 100,000 dennies
  • F: 30 Higher Dimensional Data: Thunderous Dragon, 4 Sycophant’s Refinement, and 200,000 dennies

All Vivian materials for core skill and how to farm them

Higher Dimensional Data: Thunderous Dragon can be obtained by entering Expert Challenge mode and selecting Thracian. Proxies gain access to this after completing the Mechanical Love and Let’s Go Bro! missions from Chapter 2 of the main quest in ZZZ.

For the Notorious Hunt boss material, head to Scott Outpost and select Sacrifice – Bringer. This allows players to upgrade Vivian’s core skills from D to E, and then from E to F. Players can get three Notorious Hunt materials per week without spending batteries, but any extra runs will cost 60 batteries each.

For another option, Casper near the logistics shop sells Reserved Relics for 150 Z-Merits apiece. These can be opened to get any boss material of choice.
