Dress to Impress 2024 Halloween update added dozens of new outfits, hairstyles, and accessories, and also shook up how changing DTI servers works.
Dress to Impress adds new content all the time. While fans anticipate new outfits and themed accessories, there are also quality-of-life and UI changes that shake up the experience. The 2024 Halloween update was a demonstration of that, dropping the exclusive item window and adding a changing room where players can use their code and currency items.
After the update, players struggled to locate the server change menu, which was previously displayed on the waiting room wall and within the map. Since October 19, this menu has been removed. Here’s how you can still change servers in DTI after the Halloween update.
How to change servers in DTI
Players can change servers by using the dedicated “Server” menu in Dress to Impress. DTI Group has added a new option in the game UI to change server. Here’s where to find it:
- Start Roblox and load into DTI default server
- Now, click on the server icon on the top left side of the screen, next to the moon
- A new menu with server lists will appear
- Click on your preferred server to teleport
Players might want to switch servers for various reasons, often when voting seems unfair due to lobbying. Other times, a server may simply lack enough participants to keep the game engaging. Thankfully, changing the server option is available throughout the game.
What are all the servers in DTI?
VIP members can change to the top servers in DTI. However, exclusive servers are also quite accessible and offer a better player base.
A brand new Halloween event server is also available, featuring a strict story mode, though dressing up a character in free play before entering adds style points. Freeplay doesn’t have a competition or fashion show, it’s simply meant to master oufits and explore new items.
Finally, regular servers are open for all looking to compete in public competition.
How to join exclusive servers in DTI
Exclusive servers are a great alternative to VIP in Dress to Impress for thrifty players who want to play in a more serious, cutthroat setting. However, changing to these DTI servers is a bit trickier for DTI players now.
To join pro-exclusive Dress to Impress servers, players must have more than 3,000 stars. Previously, Fashion Mavens could access the free pro-exclusive server. This is no longer the case.
Access is now restricted to those with the Runway Queen rank and over 3,000 stars. This adjustment is intended to enhance the exclusivity of these servers and to ensure serious competition.
