Eric “Erobb221” Robbins and Brittany “Britt” Alexander have officially announced that they are broken up, and fans are also heartbroken by the development.
For many streamers, privacy has become a pipe dream, and such was the case with Twitch streamer Erobb221. Fans initially found Eric online as Tyler1’s younger brother and it may have affected his presentation. After all, Tyler1 fans expect his brother to be somewhat over-the-top too, and erobb221 certainly did his best to meet that expectation.
Eric also had a very public relationship with his wife, Britt, though it usually showcased a happy family. Even some of Eric’s harshest critics wouldn’t call him a bad father or significant other. However, the relationship has taken an unfortunate turn, and the couple announced their separation.

Erob221 announced that he and Britt have broken up.
“I don’t really like talking about my personal life too much on stream, but yeah, it happened. Going through that, it’s been tough, that’s why I haven’t been live, it’s hard as f—” he said during a livestream.
The news was sudden to some degree as neither had discussed any sort of tension or issues. However, there were some suspicions among fans that something was amiss.
In a livestream at their new house, Erobb221 threw a wild party, and some fans began joking that Britt would be angry. In another incident, Britt walked in on one of Eric’s streams drunk, and viewers did not like the “vibes” that she brought to a relaxed stream. Of course, fans only ever see these streamers when they’re live.
Why did Erobb221 and Britt break up?
It is unknown why Erobb221 and Britt broke up, and neither has publicly explained any singular event or reason. Of course, fans aren’t necessarily entitled to any kind of explanation.
More likely than any on-air incident is that Eric and Britt had problems behind the scenes they chose not to share with fans. Whether that will remain the case as more people discover the separation news remains unknown.
In the meantime, most fans worry over the future of the couple’s young daughter, Emily. The separation of Eric and Britt showcases one of the most uncomfortable and parasocial aspects of livestreaming.
