Dragon Ball Sparkin! Zero may have the largest roster of any arena fighting game upon its initial release. And this isn’t even the full extent of the game’s proposed roster. It’s also expected to receive DLC updates the bring even more fighters to the game.
Which DLC fighters are coming to DBSZ?
The identities of any proposed DLC fighters have yet to be revealed for DBSZ, but it’s not hard to make some educated guesses. Characters from the original manga and anime series may be more prominently featured, as may characters from some of the more popular or obscure films that have been produced for the series over the years.
It’s also possible that characters from the new Dragon Ball Daima series are set to be featured in DLC updates. This would make sense, allowing series creators to promote the new anime while also bringing even more characters to the arena fighter.
Less likely, but still possible, is the addition of new and original characters. A new character was created specifically for the release of the Dragon Ball Fighterz fighting game; there’s nothing stopping developers from adding original character to Dragon Ball Sparking Zero as DLC additions. But given how many established characters are available for use in the game, it’s more likely we’ll see those already created than anyone new.
Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait too long to try out the full roster of characters for themselves, as Dragon Ball Sparking Zero launches on October 11, 2024.
