The long-rumored Fall Guys Mobile version is reportedly arriving soon and what appear to be leaked screenshots suggest it won’t be much different than the full version.
Fall Guys became a phenomenon when it was released in 2020 and is now making a return on mobile devices. The multiplayer title is famous for its hectic online survival gameplay. The original game was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PCs but now, it’s making its way to smartphones and tablets.
The developers launched the game at a budget price but decided to make Fall Guys a free-to-play title later. The mobile version of the platforming battle royale game was long rumored to be in development but has just made an appearance on social media.
Will there be a Fall Guys mobile version?
Fall Guys Mobile is seemingly coming soon, with leaked screenshots showing the game in action.
A TikTok account, leakhunterofficial, posted eight screenshots of a seemingly complete build of Fall Guys Mobile. The leaked screenshots what the game looks like, with plenty of in-game and UI screenshots. The player is seen participating in matches in the screenshots. It’s unclear whether the game is running online, but many other characters can be seen around the player.
Fall Guys has made an appearance in Fortnite, another popular battle royale title. It’s also unclear on which platform, Android or iOS, the game is running. From the screenshots, the game looks to be in its final stages, with the graphics and assets polished and ready to go.
Fall Guys Mobile release date info
The leaked screenshots show that Fall Guys Mobile is feature-complete, so fans can expect an official release date announcement soon.
The original game already had simple controls on consoles and PCs. The controls translate well on the touch screen, too. A screenshot shows an on-screen touch control adjustment screen that will let players customize the controls. Players will be able to place the buttons however they see fit on the screen and adjust the scale and tapping areas.
Fall Guys Mobile will also support controllers, adding convenience to the title. On consoles Fall Guys has a new competitor, Sega’s Sonic Rumble. However, it will have to compete with Stumble Guys, another platformer battle royale, on mobile platforms. Developer Mediatonic hasn’t announced an official release date yet.
