Ravnica Remastered, Outlaws of Thunder Junction among biggest MTG 2024 releases

Following the success of Dominaria Remastered and Shadows over Innistrad Remastered last year, Ravnica Remastered continues the tradition of bringing back set-defining cards and iconic mechanics from all three previous Ravnica blocks with updates to suit modern gameplay.

Murders at Karlov’s Way it will bring back fan-favorite characters and have them solve a murder mystery instead of MTG’s typical world-saving scale. A Clue version of Murders at Karlov’s Way will be released on February 29 to give both Magic and board game fans something to get excited for.

Outlaws of Thunder Junction is a Wild West-themed Magic expansion set in a new realm where villains take center stage. The set has been the subject of much fan discussion, and fans are hopeful that iconic villains such as Oko the Trickster and Vraska the Scheming Gorgon will make an appearance after being teased in the promotional art. Modern Horizons 3 will continue to add cards for Modern and Eternal formats just like its predecessors, but unlike previous Horizon sets, it will feature double-sided cards.

Mtg Assassins Creed
Assassin’s Creed is coming to MTG

Bloomburrow marks the beginning of the “Dragonstorm Arc” of the Metronome storyline and will feature a new frontier without humans that is solely ruled by anthropomorphized animals. Duskmourn: House of Horror will live up to its name by drawing inspiration from horror movies of the 1970s and 1980s. The entire world lies within a colossal mansion, with the set promising a new take on horror different from Innistrad or Phyrexian sets.

Lastly, there’s the Assassin’s Creed and Fallout sets which need no introduction and will feature cards from the popular gaming franchises. According to Wizards of the Coast, the Assassin’s Creed set will feature new cards and reprints featuring favorite characters and moments from all of the Assassin’s Creed games. The Assassin’s Creed MTG cards will be legal in Modern.
