Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has over 100 suits to unlock leaving both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, but players will have to unlock the ability to change suits before picking one out.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a continuation of 2018’s smash-hit Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PlayStation 4 and its PS5 spin-off, Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales. It was no surprise when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was announced to be in development three years ago, but the question was how it could expand upon the original. One of the low-hanging fruits was just adding more unlockables, with new costumes being one of the most obvious but exciting possibilities.
With the game now released worldwide, players are discovering just how much there is to do in the game and just how many suits there are to unlock. With there being so many different colors of each suit, even the classic one, it leaves players with endless ways to customize their characters.
How to access the suit collection and unlock suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, players can open up this menu above by swiping left to right on the touchpad of the PlayStation 5 controller.
Doing this brings up the map and from there, players can go between what feature they want to look at. Navigate to the “Suits” section of the menu to view the whole catalog of suits available. If the player purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game, they start the game with five suits for each Spider-Man.
Other suits in the catalog might need to be unlocked or crafted. Players can use City Tokens to unlock new suits or craft them using Tech Parts and other resources. City Tokens can be unlocked by completing tasks called Marko’s Memories, which can then be spent on suits.

Players need to advance into the game to a certain point in order to unlock the ability to change suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
At first, players won’t be able to change their outfits, even when pulling up the menu selection. The option just won’t exist at first, which will confuse some players, especially when they receive a notification that they unlocked a suit.
The feature is unlocked by progressing through the opening parts of the game. After going up onto a building that guides the player to a drone, they will see a bag on the ground. This bag will show a Spidey suit inside and players will be prompted to interact with it. This is when the feature will be unlocked.
Players will discover that there are tons of suits for both Peter and Miles, with each one having very different styles. The feature makes it very easy to distinguish between Miles and Peter and helps to differentiate them even further. Players can also pay homage to some of their favorite alternative versions of the wall-crawler ranging from those seen in Across the Spider-Verse to other notable Spider-Men like the Superior Spider-Man.
