Infinity Nikki version 2.9, dubbed Bloom Beneath Bright Skies, brings yet another fun way to gather crafting goodies. But this new opportunity may be a tad difficult if you’re not paying attention. Here’s how to beat all levels of Battle! Too Good to Eat in Infinity Nikki.
Battle! Too Good to Eat has four stages, and the last two are absolutely brutal. The final stage only unlocks if you clear Hard mode with a score above +2000 and full durability. So even if you beat Hard mode, you’ll still collect your rewards, but the next stage stays locked until you clear it without losing a single heart.
So far, players are finding themselves getting stuck on Hard mode where bosses actually attack you, unlike the harmless Esselings from earlier stages that just run toward you. We’ve put together some ingredients and setup combos that make every level a breeze.
Best setup to beat all levels of Battle! Too Good to Eat in Infinity Nikki
To beat each of the levels in Battle! Too Good to Eat in Infinity Nikki, it helps to understand the game’s economy system and its shops. You get one refresh in the ingredient menu and one in the Seasoning shop. It’s important to make use of both, especially the Seasoning shop refresh, since BBQ currency has no use beyond that shop.
The earlier you spend, the better your odds of getting further in the game.
For your first ingredient pick, the game tends to lowball you with weak, low-damage fruits. Aim for a Fresh Lemon on your opening pick, or ideally an Eerie Fruit. If the shop doesn’t offer anything worthwhile, don’t hesitate to refresh.
In a fool-proof setup, you want multiple of the following ingredients:
- Mischief Jelly
- Travel jelly
- Love Jelly
- Furious Puffer
- Olive Oil
- Eerie Bread

The setup above, along with Puffer Fish, should you get past all four levels of Too Good to Eat.
Tips to beat the hard level Too Good to Eat in Infinity Nikki
When tackling the hard level in Too Good to Eat, you typically want your first row filled with a mix of Travel and Mischief Jelly, the second row with all Love Jellies, and the last row with your damaged ingredients, Fresh Lemon, Defiant Pepper, and anything else you were forced to buy early on.
Here’s the secret ingredient that worked best for us: Cheer-Up Crab.
Since you’re often forced to buy low-damage fruits early on, investing in Cheer-Up Crab really pays off. This ingredient significantly boosts the attack speed of whatever ingredient sits below it. Make sure to put it over your weakest ingredient to balance out the setup. Paired with Olive Oil Seasoning, this combo alone makes your setup nearly unbeatable.

As soon as you get better ingredients, feel free to drag the bad ones towards the shop to get rid of them. You can also get rid of Cheer-Up Crab later once you get better ingredients.
We also highly recommend buying a Furious Puffer the moment you see one in the shop. Even if it shows up early in the second round and you’re tempted to grab a different damage ingredient instead, don’t. Buy the Puffer every single time it appears. You’ll thank yourself later.
For seasonings, you’ll get an option to copy one existing ingredient in the shop. Use it every single time to copy the Puffer Fish and fill out as many slots as you can. This is more efficient than refreshing the existing Puffer, since repeated refreshes burn through your money fast. Also, remember that refresh takes time, which means you may lose health by the time Puffer is ready for use.

Coffee Grounds are also a decent, cheap option. They weaken all Esselings every five seconds. But if you already have enough Puffers and Olive Oil with the ingredient setup we mentioned earlier, you won’t need them.
We do suggest unlocking all skewers and buying Curry Cubes if you have money. This Seasoning helps you gain health fast and reduces Esselring’s attacks by 25%.
Finally, buy anything but the Salted Fish. it shuts down recovery in exchange for money stacking up, which isn’t worth it in the long run.
There’s not a single perfect setup to beat all levels of Too Good to Eat in Infinity Nikki, but there are certain ingredients that are staples. All three jellies and Furious Puffers should be able to get you past each of the four levels. You can even do it while being AFK if you aren’t afraid to shell out money on attack-boosting seasonings.
While Infinity Nikki is generally a very relaxing game, it does occasionally present players with real challenges. This is one such example, but with the help of our guide, you should be able to navigate it and pick up your rewards with ease.
