Tectone is no stranger to drama and controversy, with the most notable such instance being accusations of abuse levied against him by ex-girlfriend and fellow content creator Pinkchyu. The streamer’s drama have also led to him platform-hopping from his previous home, Twitch, to multistreaming on Kick, and finally settling on Rumble.
He has kept his content more or less the same throughout that time, with Just Chatting and reaction streams remaining a staple of Tectone’s broadcasts. Tectone is now under fire from Ironmouse fans, as the streamer reacted to a recently surfaced video of the vtuber.
What did Tectone say about Ironmouse?
This incident involving Tecton reacting to Ironmouse occurred in a Rumble livestream on August 27, when Tectone was doing a segment where he reacted to popular and trending videos. The streamer played a video that apparently showed Ironmouse using an older vtuber model and talking about being a mother of a 10-year-old daughter.
Tectone was surprised by the discovery, and he searched for more details about the clip. He found out that the model in the video was seemingly debuted by Ironmouse in 2017.
This led to the streamer calculating that the 10-year-old daughter should now be 19 years old. He also estimated that Ironmouse should be at least 40 years old. It’s important to note here that Tectone estimated these ages on his own, and that neither has been independently verified.
Some reports indicate that the clip Tectone reacted to was actually from an interview that Ironmouse was a part of in 2018.
Tectone reacted to both pieces of information strongly, stating that he felt like he “saw something illegal,” and taking issue with Ironmouse being an adult while he claimed many in the streamer’s community treated the vtuber as “a kid.”
He further claimed that Ironmouse had told people to ignore Tectone for spreading “misinformation,” but that he had been “right” about the vtuber. Tectone said that he had told his viewers that Ironmouse had a kid well before this unearthed video went viral. The streamer further speculated that his other unconfirmed claims about other vtubers and Ironmouse may also end up being true.
Tectone’s reaction to Ironmouse’s clip didn’t sit well with the vtuber’s fans, and the Rumble streamer has been receiving backlash ever since he went live to speak on the subject.
Some fans have questioned whether Tectone thinks vtubers don’t have a life outside of their models. Others have criticized the streamer for not knowing that Ironmouse led a relatively normal life before she fell ill and was diagnosed with common variable immunodeficiency, leading to her becoming bedridden.
Tectone claims Ironmouse fans are harassing him
The Rumble streamer addressed the backlash he was receiving after reacting to the Ironmouse video clip, claiming that he was receiving “death threats.” Tectone associated the threats with Ironmouse’s fandom, claiming that he had only reacted to a clip sent by an anonymous viewer.
He claimed that he wasn’t just being criticized by Ironmouse fans, but rather that “everybody wants to kill me.”
Ironmouse hasn’t publicly commented on the issue at the time of this writing. The vtuber is currently preparing for her Mouseathon 2026, which has her fans excited.
