Not every crafting material in Infinity Nikki can be obtained by simply exploring and picking up knickknacks, with Terra Gems being a prominent example. Terra Gem is a crucial crafting material behind 174 outfits, and this is how players can get it.
Most early outfits in Infinity Nikki are simply crafted using materials you’d find lying around Miraland. But as the story progresses, players start to notice the game getting more demanding with what it asks for. Some materials, you won’t even see in your crafting menu. That’s because they don’t simply exist out in the world, waiting to be had; they have to be fought for.
Terra Gems are used to craft about 174 outfits in Infinity Nikki, many of them crucial to the storyline. These gems require a bit more effort than your regular materials. Here’s how to get Terra Gems in Infinity Nikki.
What are all the Terra Gems in Infinity Nikki?
In total, there are five different types of Terra Gems, each tied to a different outfit style you’re crafting. They’re all three-star materials, meaning they’re not exactly rare, but they take some effort to earn.

- Sweet (pink): crafts 50 outfits
- Sexy (purple): crafts 48 outfits
- Fresh (green): crafts 18 outfits

How to get Terra Gems in Infinity Nikki?
Terra Gems are claimed by beating Esselings outside of the main game, using the Warp Sire. However, the Esseling Pack Phantom Trial isn’t available by default. Players must finish Chapter 1 to unlock the trial.
The Esselings that appear in the Esseling Pack are the ones you encounter throughout Elderwood Forest, so once Itzaland is open and you’ve made progress through that storyline, the Esseling Pack trials become available alongside the Bouldy and other trials in the realm.
To be eligible for the trial, players must first finish the Mothershroom Dream dungeon storyline. Afterwards, a world quest called New Training: Warp Spire Realm becomes available in Shroomville. Completing this quest unlocks the Esseling Pack Phantom Trial within the Warp Spire challenges.

To access the related challenge:
- Go to any nearby Warp Sire
- Interact with it and select Realm Challenges
- Choose Realm of The Dark
- Select Phantom Trial: Esseling Pack and pick the variant, matching the Terra Gem style you need
- Beat the Esselings to win Terra Gems
You can also spend more Vital Energy, which is free currency, to win more Terra Gems after each attempt.
It’s worth noting here that Terra Gems are only one piece of the puzzle. Most outfits also call for additional materials like Threads of Purity, Bling, and style-specific drops gathered from across Miraland. So while stocking up on Terra Gems is absolutely a smart move, don’t neglect the rest of your Infinity Nikki inventory.
