The upcoming DLC fighters for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 have already been leaked, giving fans of the upcoming game a sneak peek at the upcoming additions to the roster.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is still a few weeks away from launching and it has already seen its first batch DLC fighters leaked. These four will join the already confirmed list of 26 total characters in the upcoming fighting game. With the DLC characters set to release throughout 2024, fans can now determine if a season pass might be worth the money.
The first All-Star Brawl game garnered a fair bit of attention when it was first revealed, but that didn’t stick around after launch. The game has seen abysmal player numbers, having single-digit average player counts over the last two months.
After only being on the market for just two years, developers Ludosity and Fair Play Labs must be hoping that the sequel will bring more players to the game with an updated and expanded roster. The time might be right with the whole fighting game genre riding a wave of success with the popularity of major releases such as Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1.
Who will be DLC characters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2?
The DLC for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 will add Mr. Krabs from Spongebob SquarePants, Iroh and Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Rocksteady from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the roster.
Established MultiVersus leaker AusilMV reported that the first batch of DLC characters includes a mix from different IPs, including a pair of Avatar fan favorites. It was already known that there were only four additional characters set to be added through the initial batch of DLC, but now fans know just who those four are.
If this list is correct, it will be the first time any of the supposed characters were featured in the All-Star Brawl games. The addition of Mr. Krabs, Iroh, Zuko, and Rocksteady will also boost the representation from each of their respective IPs, with there being five characters from Spongebob and The Last Airbender series and four from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles after all DLC characters drop. This is striking especially against underrepresented IPs like Rugrats, Aaahh!! Real Monsters, or Invader Zim.
Since this list isn’t officially confirmed there is a chance that these characters won’t be appearing as DLC in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. With the three represented Nickelodeon IPs seeing recent or long-term success, it would make sense to focus attention on the well-known series. This doesn’t mean that fans won’t possibly be disappointed in seeing their favorite shows being put on the metaphorical bench, though.
