List of all Wuthering Wave characters so far in version 1.1

Wuthering Waves has a roster stacked with powerful characters separated by signature elements, weapons, and rarities.

In Wuthering Waves, players will face numerous challenges on Solaris-3, a world devastated by an event known as the Lament. To survive, players must master the skills and specialties of Wuthering Waves characters referred to as resonators in the game. Each character is equipped with a weapon and abilities to help players tackle their foes on Solaris-3. Players who are new to Wuthering Waves should start by familiarizing themselves with all the game’s characters.

So far, there are 17 characters in Wuthering Waves. The four and five-star characters all have one of the following elements.

• Aero: This wind element allows characters to manipulate airflow.
• Electro: Associated with electricity and thunder, Electro helps displace charges.
• Fusion: Fusion characters can apply heat to ignite enemies.
• Glacio: Characters with Glacio Element can freeze enemies.
• Spectro: Characters with Spectro can photons.
• Havoc: Havon characters have the ability to eradicate matter.

Besides this, each character has one of five weapon types.

• Swords
• Broadblades
• Pistols
• Gauntlets
• Rectifiers

How to get free characters in Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves players can get a small handful of free characters. Most are acquired through Convenes, the game’s gacha system. Nonetheless, certain characters can be obtained for free by completing in-game missions or participating in events.

Here are all the free characters players can get in Wuthering Waves by simply playing the game.

1. Rover: Rover is a Spectro all-arounder and can be unlocked by just playing Wuthering Waves for the first time.
2. Chixia: Chixia is an easy-to-learn character, perfect for beginners. She will become playable at the end of the prologue chapter as you progress through the story.
3. Yangyang: Yanyang will also become playable during the prologue for free.  
4. Baizhi: Baizhi is a handy healer who can be unlocked by pulling once on the Tidal Chorus banner for free.
5. Sanhua: Sanhua can be unlocked for free by logging in for five consecutive days and completing the Gift of Thawing Frost event.
6. Yuanwu: Players can get Yuanwa by completing the Tower of Adversity: Stable Zone.
7. Rover (Havoc): The Havoc variant of Rover can be unlocked by completing the Main Quest called Grand Warstorm.
