MoonMoon responds to claims of cheating with GTA RP partner

MoonMoon streamer

Gaming streamer MoonMoon has been accused of cheating on his wife with his GTA RP partner DivaJilly, but he has now responded to the allegations.

MoonMoon is a Twitch streamer known for gaming, including GTA RP, a game popular with big content creators. MoonMoon’s GTA RP character, Maximilian Thoroughbred, was in an e-relationship with DivaJilly character; Siobahn Fitzpatrick. But their roleplaying seems to have led to a real life affair.

Here’s what happened with MoonMoon and his GTA RP partner.

Did MoonMoon cheat on his wife?

A series of leaked Discord messages seemingly confirm that MoonMoon and DivaJilly were cheating on their respective partners.

On September 25, a former pro Heroes of the Storm player known as John Paul “KingCaffeine” Lopez shared screenshots of what he claims to be a Discord conversation between his wife, DivaJilly, and MoonMoon. KingCaffeine tweeted that his wife of 15 years has been cheating on him for months with MoonMoon.

He says he found the Discord conversations when he checked his wife’s account to see if she was okay after she wasn’t responding while at TwitchCon 2024. The messages include interactions between MoonMoon and DivaJilly that confirm they had an affair. The two discuss sexual encounters and talk about being in love.

“It really saddens me that it came to this after months of assuring me it was all ‘RP.’ I was sold the lie that it was just about sex positivity and girl bossing, when in reality they were just living out their secret fantasies while both being married. I’m sure their rabid fanbases won’t care,” KingCaffeine said.

According to KingCaffeine, DivaJilly was flirting and exchanging sexual videos with other men as well.

Fans were already appalled at the cheating on DivaJilly’s end but then remembered that just a few months ago MoonMoon had showed off his own relationship. In that same stream, MoonMoon had told fans he had “no feelings” for his NoPixel partner in real life.

MoonMoon responds to cheating allegations

MoonMoon stated that he did not cheat on his wife and that they were already separated.

As the drama continued and more information was released, MoonMoon responded to the cheating accusations. On his subscribers-only Discord channel, MoonMoon said he was separated from his wife for the past two months. This closely aligned with the previous livestream that included his partner. He also said DivaJilly was in an “open marriage,” as requested by KingCaffeine.

On top of that, MoonMoon said that the leaked conversations were still part of their “role playing” and that he never talked to her “inappropriately” outside of that context.

While this placated some fans, KingCaffeine was quick to denounce the statement. On X, he said that he was never in an open relationship.

“Why would she talk about cheating and packing her bags?” he wrote.

MoonMoon stuck to his own version of events after this. He said on Twitch that he was told she was in an open relationship and that he believed her.

Some fans have been left disheartened by MoonMoon and DivaJilly’s alleged affair while others have supported him. But this is unfortunately not too unique of an event in the streaming world, so don’t expect this incident to stick out to fans or too long.
