Players trying to catch every Eeveelution can do so with some of the best pull cards from the new Eevee Grove expansion packs in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
Over the past several months, Pokemon TCG Pocket has introduced hundreds of new cards to digital players using themed booster packs. These collections include Genetic Apex, Shining Revelry, and Celestial Guardians. So far, packs have been centered around a certain generation and the legendary and mythical Pokemon that came from it.
Pokemon TCG Pocket’s newest themed booster, however, centers around a Pokemon special in large part because of its numerous possible evolutions – Eevee. Eevee Grove hits the app on June 26, and these are some of the best pull cards players can try to get from it.
Best pull cards so far from Eevee Grove
Pokemon TCG Picket: Eevee Grove’s best pull card so far is its two-star Sylveon ex.
Sylveon is the last introduced Eevee evolution, or Eeveelution. This card is the rarest shown in the Eevee Grove trailer and deals 70 damage in exchange for only two psychic energy. Sylveon ex may serve a similar purpose in a psychic deck to Starmie ex in water decks, as it can get on the board in just two turns and only take two energy to build up.

Additionally, Sylveon ex has an ability that, when put into play, enables the player to draw an extra two cards. With the addition of two Pokeballs and two Professor’s Research cards, the total number of cards that can be drawn with just one Sylveon is eight. This may offer rapid acceleration to any player lucky enough to pull the new Sylveon ex card from Eevee Grove.
Eevee also gets its own ex in Eevee Grove. But unlike most ex cards, Eevee ex can still evolve into any evolution presently in the player’s hand. This makes it a bulkier starter, with 90 HP on its basic form, that can withstand a couple of hits while waiting for the best Stage 1 card to evolve into.
The final ex shown in the trailer is Flareon ex, although it isn’t nearly as powerful as other key fire cards or even Sylveon ex. The card has the ability to attach an extra energy, but must take damage. Furthermore, its Fire Spin attack takes three energy and discards two upon use. The likely best way to make Flareon ex viable is to pair it with Moltres ex for extra energy generation, but even that requires some good luck.
More good cards in Eevee Grove booster pack
The Eevee Grove booster pack trailer featured some more good potential pull cards depending on a player’s interests: Umbreon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Vaporeon are all shown as three-diamond regular evolutions.
Though not particularly powerful, Leafeon also gets its own one star full art.
The only known trainer card so far is Penny. Debuting in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Penny’s entire line-up is based around Eevee and its evolutions. In Pokemon TCG Pocket, the card can steal and use the move of an opponent’s trainer. Her Eevee bag also features as an item that lets an Eeveelution do more damage and heal up some the damage it has itself taken.

Other cards shown include psychic-type cards like Slurpuff and Milcery. Interestingly, in the Pokemon console games each of these Pokemon are usually considered fairy types. These being lumped together suggest that the rest of the Eevee Grove booster will focus on fairy and psychic Pokemon.
To collect all of the cards, especially the best pull card Sylveon ex, players will just have to keep ripping open Eevee Grove packs. They can get extra hourglasses from completing daily missions and AI solo battles, or by investing in the game’s premium mode and receiving one extra pull per day. Eevee and its evolutions await.
