Riot x Arcane’s Valorant skins returning for Season 2, but where?

With Arcane Season 2 looming on the horizon, the hit animated series is seemingly set to come back to Valorant.

Arcane Season 2, a final season meant to wrap up all the storylines, is premiering on Netflix in November. The first season was a massive success, winning numerous awards and getting rave reviews from League of Legends fans and the uninitiated. The first season also brought Arcane cosmetics to Valorant as part of the Riot x Arcane collaboration event.

Now, Valorant’s official social media channels have seemingly leaked that Arcane Season 2 is set to get similar treatment. Though this only came out on Chinese social media, fans are hopeful that it means a return in other markets.

Arcane bundle with Sheriff seemingly returning to Valorant in China

The Riot x Arcane bundle is going to return to Valorant in celebration of Arcane Season 2. Valor Intel revealed that the official Valorant Weibo account teased that Arcane is returning to the hero shooter.

The teaser did not give away much information. Valor Intel explained that it used the phrase “game benefits” which could mean a new Arcane event to reflect Season 2 or simply the return of the same cosmetics. It could also mean something else entirely, as there are no specifics on offer.

Another possibility is the return of the first Arcane event but only to China since the game was just released in the country last year. This could be a chance for China to also get the rewards from the Arcane Season 1 event collab.

Of course, Valorant players are hoping it’s a full event for all players like it was for Arcane Season 1, which included a free Riot x Arcane pass and extra collectible cosmetics. The most notable item on offer was the Arcane Sheriff, themed after Jinx’s pistol in the show.

This time around, Valorant fans are hoping to see some weapon skins that reflect Arcane Season 2. Some are suggesting Caitlyn’s rifle for the Operator or Jinx’s Gatling gun for the Odin.

While there’s definitely excitement over the possibilities, some Valorant players were frustrated over the possible return of the same cosmetics. Many players are already expressing worry that the exclusive limited-time cosmetics they got back during Arcane Season 1 will return, making what they earned less special.

Of course, it’s too early to know what Riot has in store for Valorant this time around. Regardless, fans can likely look forward to these skins arriving in November.

Valorant is scheduled to receive Patch 9.09 on November 5, 2024. The release of Arcane Season 2, which is November 9, 2024. Players can expect any Arcane x Valorant crossover action to arrive during the month.
