The Broker quest in Star Wars Outlaws offers a variety of rewards for the stolen pearl, but which one is best?
Star Wars Outlaws offers choices in certain quests. Most of the quest rewards are reputation boosts with certain factions. However, some quests will offer more variety in consequences, whether in rewards or narrative changes. The syndicate quest “The Broker” offers one of these choices.
Danka, a Mon Calamari information broker, gives Kay Vess the quest after finishing The Safecracker mission. The Broker involves Kay obtaining a valuable clam from a deal between two criminal organizations. Before she can get the item, however, they come face to face with an Imperial guard.
Should you bribe the Imperial Officer in The Broker quest?
The player should use the pearl to bribe the Imperial Guard in the Broker quest, as it removes the opportunity for rewards later.
For players who want to maximize rewards, it’s better to risk the chase. Plus, it’s more fun to escape Stormtroopers and test in-game skills at that point.
It’s worth noting that the 500 credits will be subtracted from the player’s credit reward for the quest, not their existing balance. Once the player escapes the Stormtroopers, they must return to Danka and decide who gets the stolen pearl.
What choice with the pearl gives the best rewards for The Broker quest?
Keeping the pearl is the best choice for The Broker quest in Star Wars Outlaws.
The player can give the pearl to the Crimson Dawn or the Ashiga Clan, but both options only grant a reputation boost on top of the 1,500 credits quest reward. The pearl gets added to Kay’s valuables and can be sold for 2,000 credits. In total, players gain 4,500 credits from the quest. Reputation isn’t hard to come by in Star Wars Outlaws, and the extra credits will be of much more immediate use to the player.
However, if the player wants to maximize their reputation with all factions, they should give the pearl to the Crimson Dawn. Doing so grants a significant reputation boost for the Crimson Dawn and a moderate reputation boost for the Ashiga clan. However, it’s worth noting that keeping the pearl still grants the player a reputation boost with the Ashiga Clan, making it the best choice even for an Ashiga Clan ally.
