Controversial streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa’s ASMR YouTube channel was seemingly banned and terminated, raising questions like what she did and whether she’ll be back.
Amouranth is one of the most controversial content creators on the planet. Known primarily for her over-the-top ASMR and hot tub streams that push the limits of every platform she’s on, the surprise of seeing one of her accounts banned has long worn off. The streamer has an on-again, off-again relationship with Twitch, simply because she’s banned from the platform so frequently.
The streamer is in the news again for getting another one of her accounts terminated. This time, however, instead of one of her streaming accounts, her ASMR channel took the hit. While some fans wonder why Amouranth’s channel was terminated, most already have a general idea based on her history.
Why was Amouranth’s ASMR channel banned?
Amouranth’s ASMR YouTube channel was confirmed to be banned for going against YouTube’s nudity and sexual content policy.
After the termination, the streamer went to her X profile to state her account was removed “without warning” when she posted a video on her channel. According to Amouranth, the video just had her brushing her microphone with a toothbrush.
Amouranth done more questionable actions than this without facing punishment. While she’s no stranger to being banned from social media platforms, having recently been banned from Twitch for using multiple camera angles to focus on specific parts of her body, she claims that her recent upload was innocuous. The creator receiving an account termination for something that seems comparatively tame has some fans wondering if YouTube will take a stricter approach to what’s historically allowed on the platform.
Is Amouranth’s ASMR YouTube channel permanently banned?
Amouranth’s ASMR channel is permanently banned, judging from a Team YouTube statement on X. Her main channel remains operational.
Amouranth asked the official TeamYouTube X account for more information in the initial tweet announcing her channel’s ban. While the account responded, it didn’t give good news for the creator. The YouTube representative stated the termination was correct. The former ASMR webpage states the page is unavailable.
The streamer went to X to state she regrets nothing. Fortunately for Amouranth, she still has YouTube channels, including her main account with close to a million followers. Additionally, she has her deal with the streaming platform Kick. It ensures she has a place to create content, even if her other YouTube channels face any danger.
