Zibai character & talent ascension materials pre-farm guide

Genshin Impact’s next Lunar DPS, Zibai, is coming soon, and collecting the right ascension materials early is important to get the most out of her kit straight away.

After a two-year gap since Navia’s release, Genshin Impact is finally introducing a new Geo DPS. Rather than relying on Geo’s only elemental reaction, Crystallize, Zibai, the newest Nod-Krai character makes use of Lunar-Crystallize reactions instead. She is a five-star Geo sword character who scales with Defense.

Zibai is expected to be a powerful damage dealer capable of carrying teams, especially when paired with Illuga. But before fully building her, players will need to ascend her first.

Fortunately, all of Zibai’s ascension materials are already available in the live version, making pre-farming possible. Below is a complete list of Genshin Impact Zibai’s ascension materials and the best ways to obtain them.

All Zibai ascension materials

Zibai’s ascension materials consist of an assortment of Prithiva Topaz gemstones, Glaze Lilies, Tattered, Immaculate, and Frost-Etched Warrants, Withered Remnants of the Nightmare Wing, and Mora.

• Level 20: 1 Prithiva Topaz Sliver, 3 Glaze Lily, 3 Tattered Warrant, and 20,000 mora
• Level 40: 3 Prithiva Topaz Fragments, 2 Withered Remnant of the Nightmare Wing, 10 Glaze Lily, 15 Tattered Warrant, and 40,000 mora
• Level 50: 6 Prithiva Topaz Fragments, 4 Withered Remnant of the Nightmare Wing, 20 Glaze Lily, 12 Immaculate Warrant, and 60,000 mora

How to get Zibai’s character ascension materials

Prithiva Topaz is an ascension material used exclusively by Geo characters, including Zibai. Players can obtain it by spending Resin to defeat Geo-themed world and weekly bosses, including Geo Hypostasis, Golden Wolflord, Perpetual Mechanical Array, Primo Geovishap, and Andrius.

Glaze Lily is a local specialty from Liyue. Players can find it in two main locations: Yujing Terrace in Liyue Harbor and the terraced fields in Qingce Village.

Tattered Warrant, Immaculate, and Frost-Etched Warrant can be farmed by repeatedly defeating Fatui Oprichniki enemies, which drop these items. These enemies are common but can only be found within Nod-Krai.

For the final Zibai ascension material, head to Kipumaki Cliff in Ashveil Peak within the Nod-Krai region and locate the Whisperer of Nightmares boss on the west side. Defeat the boss, spend resin, and collect the drops to obtain the Withered Remnant of the Nightmare Wing.

How to get Genshin Impact Zibai’s talent ascension materials

To upgrade Zibai’s talents, players need Gold talent books, which can be farmed in the Taishang Mansion domain in Jueyun Karst Liyue on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Luckily, Zibai’s boss talent ascension material, Ascended Sample: Queen, is also available in the current version of the game and can be pre-farmed. This material is dropped by the weekly boss Game Before the Gate.

Players can find him in the Unresolved Chess Game: Trounce domain, which becomes available after completing the Gardener Archon quest.
