ZZZ: All materials needed for Burnice’s promotions, skills

burnice ultimate zzz

For ZZZ players who have their hearts set on getting Burnice, it’s wise to collect all her promotion and skill enhancement materials before starting to pull for her, never mind build her.

Proxies who are into disorder teams are going to love Sons of Calydon member Burnice White. She is revealed to be the first fire anomaly agent in the game. What’s interesting is that she’ll be the first to deal fire damage and apply anomaly off-field, synergizing with other anomaly DPS agents like Jane Doe. Sub-DPS units that can add damage without having to appear on the field are always in demand, and Burnice looks like she’ll fit that bill perfectly.

So for anyone who’s looking to make the blonde anomaly agent their next favorite squad member, there’s plenty of time to prepare. Here’s a rundown of all the Burnice promotion, skills, and core skills level-up materials along with the best ways to obtain them.

All Burnice White promotion materials

In order to level up Burnice in ZZZ, proxies will need to gather a total of 4 Basic Anomaly Certification Seals, 32 Advanced Anomaly Certification Seals, 30 Controller Certification Seals, and Dennies.

There are six levels for her promotion, and here’s a breakdown of the all Burnice materials required for each level:

  • Level 20: 4 Basic Anomaly Certification Seal and 24,000 Dennies
  • Level 30: 12 Advanced Anomaly Certification Seal and 56,000 Dennies
  • Level 40: 20 Advanced Anomaly Certification Seal and 120,000 Dennies
  • Level 50: 10 Advanced Anomaly Certification Seal and 200,000 Dennies
  • Level 60: 20 Controller Certification Seal and 400,000 Dennies

In Zenless Zone Zero, Dennies are the main currency for purchases and upgrades. There are tons of ways to collect Dennies, like claiming rewards, clearing hollows, scratch cards, opening cargo trucks, and redeeming codes. Do note that upgrading characters and W-Engines can eat up money fast.

But if players ever find themselves short, they can head to the HIA and pick Bounty Specialization to get some quick cash. If push comes to shove, there’s the option of spending Ether Battery to get more.

The Anomaly Certification Seal is a promotion material used by all anomaly units in the game, from electric agent Grace to Burnice’s cohort Piper. The most straightforward way to farm it is by spending battery charge at the HIA. Upon completing the challenge, players will receive varied amounts of Basic, Advanced, and Controller Certification Seals depending on their level. Alternatively, they can use the craft and dismantle function to obtain their target material without needing to spend additional batteries.

Burnice skill level-up materials

Leveling up Burnice’s skill will require a total of 2 Basic Burn Chips, 15 Advanced Burn Chips, 50 Specialized Burn Chips, 1 Hamster Cage Pass, and 500,000 Dennies.

From level 2 to 12, here are the items players need to max out her skills.

  • Level 2: 2 Basic Burn Chip, 2,000 Dennies
  • Level 3: 3 Basic Burn Chip, 3,000 Dennies
  • Level 4: 2 Advanced Burn Chip and 6,000 Dennies
  • Level 5: 3 Advanced Burn Chip and 9,000 Dennies
  • Level 6: 4 Advanced Burn Chip and 12,000 Dennies
  • Level 7: 6 Advanced Burn Chip and 18,000 Dennies
  • Level 8: 5 Specialized Burn Chip and 45,000 Dennies
  • Level 9: 8 Specialized Burn Chip and 67,500 Dennies
  • Level 10: 10 Specialized Burn Chip and 90,000 Dennies
  • Level 11: 12 Specialized Burn Chip and 112,500 Dennies
  • Level 12: 15 Specialized Burn Chip, 1 Hamster Cage Pass and 135,000 Dennies

Burnice is a fire agent, which means players will need to collect Burn Chips for her. They can use batteries on Combat Simulation – Heating Test to get Basic Burn Chips, Advanced Burn Chips, and Specialized Burn Chips. Similar to certification seals, players can craft or dismantle Burn Chips to obtain low or high-tier versions of this material.

In Zenless Zone Zero, the Hamster Cage Pass is a rare item that players will need if they want to level her skills to the maximum. At the moment, the only ways to get it are by participating in special limited-time events or leveling up the New Eridu City Fund. New Eridu City Fund is ZZZ’s battle pass; players could take one from it, or two if they bought the premium version.

Burnice core skill level-up materials

As for Burnice’s Core skills, she will need a total of 60 Higher Dimensional Data – Stealth Phantoms, 9 Scarlet Engines and 405000 Dennies.

In Zenless Zone Zero, nearly all characters need to upgrade their core skills, and Burnice is no different. She can level her Core Skill up to F, just like the other agents, and listed below are the Burnice materials needed for each level.

  • A: 5,000 Dennies
  • B: 2 Higher Dimensional Data – Stealth Phantom and 12,000 Dennies
  • C: 4 Higher Dimensional Data – Stealth Phantom and 28,000 Dennies
  • D: 9 Higher Dimensional Data – Stealth Phantom, 2 Scarlet Engine, and 60,000 Dennies
  • E: 15 Higher Dimensional Data – Stealth Phantom, 3 Scarlet Engine, and 100,000 Dennies
  • F: 30 Higher Dimensional Data – Stealth Phantom, 4 Scarlet Engine, and 200,000 Dennies

Alongside the story content for Burnice, Caesar, and the Sons of Calydon, the game also added several new enemies for the HIA Expert Challenges and Scott Outpost’s Notorious Hunts. Burnice needs materials from the new additions to level up her core skills.

Enter the Expert Challenge mode and defeat the boss Doppelganger – Jane to receive Higher Dimensional Data – Stealth Phantom. Corrupted Overlord – Pompey was the final boss of Casear’s story, and was added as a Notorious Hunt boss.

Taking it down gives the item that enhances Burnice’s core skill, Scarlet Engine, alongside other rewards such as Interknot credits, investigation merits, W-Engine chips and more. Getting these materials from the Notorious Hunt was previously brutal, as players could get a maximum of three per week. That was made much easier in ZZZ’s 1.2 update, as it added the option of spending battery for more hunts, or the ability to purchase these materials from the Scott Outpost merchant.
