Secluded Springs is the latest booster in the Pokemon TCG Pocket lineup, complete with some of the game’s best new pull cards.

When released, Pokemon TCG Pocket boosters tend to follow a certain theming. Whether this is around a specific Pokemon like Eevee or an generation like the Alolan generation 7, there’s some particular kind of aesthetic to look forward to. Typically, the main set creates the theme and the mini booster packs in between major releases follow and add to it.

To add to the Johto lineup from Wisdom of Sky and Sea, Pokemon TCG Pocket is releasing a new themed booster pack called Secluded Springs. While keeping on theme, this new set has its own best pull cards for players to chase down.

The best pull cards so far from Secluded Springs

Suicune, Entei, and Raikou make up the best cards to pull from Secluded Springs that players have been revealed so far.

The three Pokemon are the legendary Pokemon from Gold and Silver. All of them feature in the main set, Wisdom of Sky and Sea, as three-diamond cards. Secluded Springs now introduces them in ex form. Each additionally now has special abilities and higher HPs when compared to their debut cards.

Suicune ex is the featured Pokemon of the set, and its card shows why. For its main move, Suicune ex does 20 damage for every benched Pokemon on either side. This could be up to a respectable 120 damage to the opponent for just two energy. Though dependent on factors outside of the playing user’s control, Suicune ex could end up becoming a powerful new card in the meta.

Entei ex and Raikou ex are powerhouses in their own right. Entei ex can deal 60 damage for two energy or 120 damage for four. Raikou ex deals 60 damage for two energy to the opposing Pokemon as well as 10 damage to a benched Pokemon. Both cards are focused on dealing high damage at low energy costs, and should add to the competitive play pool once pulled.

All three Pokemon also have the same special ability: Legendary Pulse, which allows the player to draw a card at the end of their turn so long as that Pokemon is in the active position. This utility follows the pattern of newer cards like Sylveon ex, who can pull two cards upon play, and Eevee, who can draw a random Pokemon.

Other cards coming to Secluded Springs

Secluded Springs introduced a number of other valuable pull cards players can anticipate for when the set drops. As of now, the two known one-star full art cards are Milotic and Phanpy. Following past patterns, it’s likely that the three legendary Pokemon will feature in rarer cards alongside unrevealed cards.

There are plenty of Pokemon cards featured in the trailer, including:

  • Mantyke
  • Slowking
  • Slugma
  • Stunfisk
  • Latios
  • Latias
  • Traveling Merchant

Secluded Springs goes live on August 28, 2025 with all of the cards listed above and plenty more to look forward to. Players will want to save their hourglasses to try and pull the Suicune ex card as quickly as possible for ranked and competitive play.
