Yumemizuki Mizuki is the newest five-star Anemo in Genshin Impact, and it’s never too early to start pre-farming her materials for ascensions.
Genshin Impact just teased Mizuki with her new drip marketing, marking her as the first Inazuma character since the Natlan cycle kicked off. Yumemizuki Mizuki is an anemo elemental mastery-scaling unit offering both healing and crowd control abilities.
The new Inazuma character is expected to debut in version 5.4 with leaks hinting that she’ll join the standard banner lineup afterward. That means there should be plenty of chances for interested players to acquire and play Mizuki in Genshin Impact. Thanks to Honey Hunter’s leaks, players can begin gathering her materials well ahead of time.
All Mizuki ascension materials
To level Mizuki up to 90, she’ll need the following ascension materials: Vayuda Turquoise gemstones, Sea Ganoderma, Old Handguard, and mora.
Ascending Mizuki takes six levels, and these are the materials required for each notable level:
- Level 20: 1 Vayuda Turquoise Sliver, 3 Sea Ganoderma, 3 Old Handguard, and 20,000 mora
- Level 40: 3 Vayuda Turquoise Fragments, 2 Talisman of the Enigmatic Land, 10 Sea Ganoderma, 15 Old Handguard, and 40,000 mora
- Level 50: 6 Vayuda Turquoise Fragments, 4 Talisman of the Enigmatic Land, 20 Sea Ganoderma, 12 Kageuchi Handguard, and 60,000 mora
- Level 60: 3 Vayuda Turquoise Chunks, 8 Talisman of the Enigmatic Land, 30 Sea Ganoderma, 18 Kageuchi Handguard, and 80,000 mora
- Level 70: 6 Vayuda Turquoise Chunks, 12 Talisman of the Enigmatic Land, 45 Sea Ganoderma, 12 Famed Handguard, and 100,000 mora
- Level 80: 3 Vayuda Turquoise Gemstones, 20 Talisman of the Enigmatic Land, 60 Sea Ganoderma, 24 Famed Handguard, and 120,000 mora
How to farm Mizuki ascension materials
Mizuki is an Anemo character, so players will need to gather several Vayuda Turquoise gemstones. These gemstones mostly drop from normal and weekly bosses, but keep in mind that resins will be needed to claim them.
These are the bosses that players should defeat to farm Vayuda Turquiose:
- Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom
- Stormterror Dvalin
- Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network
- Anemo Hypostasis
- Icewind Suite
- Maguu Kenki
- Setekh Wenut
- Solitary Suanni
Sea Ganoderma is a local specialty unique to Inazuma. This material can be found throughout nearly every subregion of the Electro nation, usually near watery shores and other bodies of water. There are around 155 Sea Ganoderma scattered across the overworld, which is nearly enough to level up Mizuki in a single day. Alternatively, players can visit Mirai, an NPC in Borou Village, who will give four Sea Ganoderma when spoken to for the first time. It’s also possible to plant them in the Serenitea Pot.
Old, Kageuchi, and Famed Handguards, similar to Sea Ganoderma, are exclusive to Inazuma and are acquired by taking down Nobushis and Kairagis.
Mizuki talent ascension materials
Level up Mizuki’s talents to level 10 by farming the following ascension materials: Transience talent books, Old Handguard, Kageuchi Handguard, Famed Handguard, Fading Candle, Crown of Insights and mora.
Character talents can be leveled up to 10, or even 13 at C6. As they level up, more materials are needed, with each level requiring more than the last.
- Level 2: 3 Teachings of Transience, 6 Old Handguard, and 12,500 mora
- Level 3: 2 Guide to Transience, 3 Kageuchi Handguard, and 17,500 mora
- Level 4: 4 Guide to Transience, 4 Kageuchi Handguard, and 25,000 mora
- Level 5: 6 Guide to Transience, 6 Kageuchi Handguard, and 30,000 mora
- Level 6: 9 Guide to Transience, 9 Kageuchi Handguard, and 37,500 mora
- Level 7: 4 Philosophies of Transience, 4 Famed Handguard, 1 Fading Candle, and 120,000 mora

How to get all Mizuki materials for talents
Players should expect to spend hundreds, if not thousands, of resins for Mizuki and her talents, as they’ll need to enter a specific domain to farm different variations of Transience books. To get them, head to the Kannazuka region and challenge the Violet Court domain every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday. Alternatively, the Parametric Transformer offers a small chance to obtain some talent books.
After farming talent books, players will need to acquire Fading Candles next. Head over to Fontaine this time and enter the Scattered Ruins domain in Mont Esus East. Bring a strong team to fight The Knave. After taking her down, players can either get Fading Candles, Silken Feathers, and Denial and Judgment.
The final piece needed to max out Mizuki’s talents is the Crown of Insight. This is a rare item players can only acquire by participating in flagship events, offering systems and using special currencies in Paimon’s Bargain.
