Deathstroke might be joining Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League as a playable DLC character, and he’s not going to be alone.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was initially announced in August 2020. Although it was supposed to come out sometime in 2022, numerous delays caused the title to have a release date of early 2024. With the game getting closer and closer to release, leaks have started popping up all over for the squad-based superhero shooter.
Just over a week ago, Killer Croc being a DLC character in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was teased by Miller Ross, a reputable leaker who previously broke stories on superhero titles such as Marvel’s Avengers. He added a crocodile as the fifth wheel in a series of emojis depicting the four confirmed playable characters. Now, it seems Ross has just confirmed another character, although this time it was a lot less subtle.
Is Deathstroke playable in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League?
A leaker claims that Deathstroke will be a playable in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League via DLC, but there’s no official word yet.
For comic book fans, this is likely not a surprise. Deathstroke is one of the most iconic hired guns in the DC Universe, and is one of its most identifiable villains with younger audiences thanks to his archenemy status in the animated Teen Titans series. He also has a direct connection with the Suicide Squad, joining the team in a 2014 comic. Amusingly, Deathstroke didn’t get a bomb in his head, so he left without fanfare once the mission was done, a rarity for the comic.
As for his potential role in the story, Deathstroke could once again be a hired gun for Waller. Deathstroke was a major antagonist in the Arkham line of games. This time around, Deathstroke could utilize his mercenary skills to do what he does best; kill superheroes.
Who will be the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League DLC characters?

During PlayStation’s State of Play in February 2023, Rocksteady stated that players can expect “lots of new content” for the game during its lifespan. Characters, missions, and weapons were teased to be part of these new DLC packs.
That said, these DLC plans didn’t make everybody happy. Many saw Rocksteady teasing DLC well before its actual release as a sign that the studio was purposefully splitting up the game’s content through paid DLC. Fans already weren’t happy with the generic squad shooter angle being used for such unique characters either. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will have an uphill battle getting those fans excited before its release.
