Destiny was unbanned from Kick, what about his son?

destiny

Kick has reversed Steve Kenneth “Destiny” Bonnel’s controversial ban, but his son remains in Kick’s bad graces.

Destiny is no stranger to controversy. Ever since he gained notoriety after interviewing Jon “Jontron” Jafari in 2017, the streamer has made a name for himself through his inflammatory debates, molten hot political takes, and beefs with other streamers in the space.

The streamer’s antics resulted in a permanent ban from Twitch. Since then, the streamer has used Kick as his primary platform for livestreams. However, Destiny’s tenure with Kick came at risk after his controversial comments regarding the attempted assassination of United States presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“F— the dude, the firefighter guy,” said Destiny, referencing a rally attendee killed by the shooter. The comment resulted in his ban, but Kick has seemingly changed its mind.

Is Destiny unbanned from Kick?

Kick unbanned Destiny a few days after his initial ban. He was initially set to be banned from the platform until July 31, 2024.

Destiny thanked fellow streamer Tyler Faraz “TrainwrecksTV” Niknam for his role in lifting the Kick ban. Notably, TrainwrecksTV is part of Kick’s advisory team. He is also a notorious critic of the Twitch platform and offers Kick as an alternative at every opportunity.

Some viewers noted Destiny’s unbanning also coincided with standing United States President Joe Biden stepping back as the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2024 election. Some fans of Destiny claim Kick was “biased” towards Destiny, as his comments were not too dissimilar from Adin Ross’s hateful language, among other infamous streamers. However, these remain speculations. While Destiny’s ban has been resolved, his son doesn’t have the same luck.

Why is Destiny’s son banned from Kick?

Destiny’s son was banned from Kick after jokingly threatening to shoot his father with a toy gun on a livestream.

The ban is indefinite, and it is unknown when Destiny’s son will return to streaming. Given his father’s quick unbanning, fans may not have to wait too long for a return.

However, some critics wonder why Destiny’s son is allowed to stream on a platform known for pushing controversial streams. They claim younger people should remain unexposed to the worst sides of the internet. Regardless, Destiny is already back in action on the platform.
